Look, I'm not dogging Worley but my confidence level was unjustifiably higher than it should have been. Off season's have a tendency to make us forget some of the issues from the previous season.

Last year, I was pretty damn low on Worley. His passes seemed lazy, he held on the ball too long, and his accuracy was anything but good. And this is who's leading the pack, so far, in practice.

This isn't pessimism, this is reality. We have concerns under center, major concerns.

If Dobbs can't beat out the rich man's Matt Simms, then our hopes of getting to a bowl game are going to rely heavily upon our OL and RB's. I have as much confidence in the RB's as I do any position on the field, if not more so.

There's still time for things to shape up and settle down...hopefully they do.

I think getting Mizzou, Vandy, and Kentucky at the end of the season is big for our bowl game chances. By then, the freshmen (especially the EEs) should be pretty comfortable in their roles and won't make as many mistakes.

The QB situation should be resolved by that point as well.

I honestly think we can and should beat Utah State, Arkansas State, and UTC no matter how bad the QB play is to start the season. Just run it right at them. I see Hurd having breakout games against those teams.

You can do mock auction drafts on espn.com. Its just like it sounds, people nominate a player for bidding and everyone bids on them. You have $200 to spend sp you have to ration your money. Its a lot of fun and you can get whoever you want, unlike the snake draft.

Cool. He's gained 60 lbs and 41 numbers on his jersey. I guess they had to go to a bigger number to handle the extra weight.

What if Butch is actually exaggerating the tterrible play of our QBs? What if they're doing better than he says? We all know he sets an extremely high bar. Just because the QBs haven't reached that bar yet doesn't mean they're still not performing to a standard that's capable of winning games.

He's working and positive about his situation.

Pretty much what I said in another post. Nobody wants to think about that though. Doesn't fit their "reality" of things that have not yet happened.

They look bad in the practice videos. Peterman and Wegzyn look like the top 2 in those videos

I'm not comfortable being overly excited or doom and gloom based on practice clips. Just can't really see enough.

I'm not making the trip to Chatt today so if any of you go please give updates (especially if a rather large kicker/punter gets in the game)

But the media is only allowed to be there for certain parts of practice. What about the other parts? Worley could hit North on a 50 yard pass, in stride, and we'd never hear about it. And the practice video doesn't capture every rep. I'm not trying to be a sunshine pumper. Just offering an opinion.
