I don't need your facts, lotto.

I feel like we're better than Florida for the first time in so long. But I don't have faith that we'll win that game.

Ole Miss had that big recruiting class a couple of years ago, its an away game. To me it lines out as a great opportunity to make a statement. I agree that the reality is that every game is important. What I am saying is that this is the win that is the next obvious step to climbing the letter of conference competitiveness. Remember DD's team took them apart in 2010. Of course I would like to see wins against UF and Mizzou. If we beat Mississippi the momentum for beating Mizzou is set. Best I can do to attempt to give objective reasons for my deeply held standard. The UF game exists in a Universe unto itself.

Wallace is a hit and miss QB. Never delivers consistently. Treadwell is good, and so is Itavius, but we also have North and our RB's to balance that out. I think we are pretty even on paper besides the line of scrimmage imo. We just dunno how that part of our team will respond although it is sounnding positive for our defensive line.

I'm hoping Blair makes strides here soon. The weight loss is a great sign, and he seems to be doing better in practice. Really important couple of weeks for him, coming up.

One thing I like is that I think Wolf and Helm are athletic enough and talented enough to chip and help on blocks then still get open.

Against someone like Florida with a great rusher, I think we'll do this: roll slightly away from that DE, wolf helps for a second on the block, then drags across the field as the safety route if the 3 WRs can't get open.

The big stepping stone win IMO are the ones in the east div.....beating FL, UGA, Vandy, and Mizz would be nice for a change

On positive news - it looks like the DL, linebackers, and secondary will all be upgraded. Assuming the offense and special teams dont regress that should be good enough to buy us a win or two by itself.

This years team I think wins 8 games against last years schedule (Florida, Georgia, Vandy become wins).

One of the big 'concerns' the 'experts' have is turning over the entire defensive line - Im nearly certain that isnt going to be a bad thing.

Looks about right to me. I think you even ranked the "on the fence" teams in order with the easier games toward the bottom. It's hard to know if Ole Miss or Florida will be better this year.

I'm tempted to say Vandy is a win. I just think the boys will be fired up to shut them up.

Very important. Agreed with the weight loss part as well. We really need him big time. I can't wait until we dont have to rely on Juco's so heavily like we do now.

I think so too, just a little gun shy after the past few. I see us winning 2 possibly 3 "on the fence games".

I truly think 7-5.

The way Georgia keeps losing players, they could slide into the category above.

Nah...

Their back 7 is insane. Their front 4 are all above avg to great athletes. Maybe their offensive WRs aren't good but their RBs are and their o line is very solid.

How good are Cummings and orr? Maybe I'm underrating them and thus the line.

Taylor and Brown is a good duo.

I trust Jay's opinion, no doubt. Just don't see it at WR, and our RBs may be better, though Brown is a load.

Maybe it's better to say we're closer than we have been recently.

Much like us, it depends on their QB play. If Driskell puts it together this year(most reports have been positive), then they could end up with an 8-9 win season.
