So, last season, we see below average QB play all season.

During camp, we continue to see below average QB play.

Do some of you have some magic beans your not telling me about, to think that our quarterback play is going to be remarkably better than last year? :dunno:

I knew some folks with magic beans in my early 20s.

It will not be.

We don't have a SEC above average QB on the roster.

It hurts.

Coaches hoped Dobbs could be that guy but my opinion is that Dobbs is actually too smart and it makes him play slow. He thinks through everything and doesn't just play football.

That might sound strange but to me he is too methodical.

Hope he can be better next year or I hope the freshman can develop quickly.

Dobbs was a butch recruit. They wanted him.

Hopefully their other QB recruits will be better.

I think QD will be a good one.

Also AK is legit.

But this year will go the way the QB play goes.

What you say about Dobbs makes perfect sense. I think he can mature out of that. He will have to learn to trust his instincts and abilities and not his frontal lobe. At some point he will have it down, but maybe not this season.

Could it be? I mean is this going down? Do the Vols average 200 ypg + rushing or is that asking to much of the OL? I am intrigued by the notion.

Football Time in TN @FootballTimeMag

QB depth chart as far as we can tell: 1. Worley 2. Peterman 3. Dobbs.

Man, Worley's whiffle baLloyd arm freaks me out. The kid is smart and doesn't turn it over a whole lot, but that arm though- can't throw it deep, accuracy is garbage- hope he had a big time offseason and improved that arm strength-
I can't handle anymore short armed throws, North should have had 5\6 more TDs

I'm not a big wrestling fan or anything, but my coworker sent me this pic today. I thought it was pretty sweet

I do expect improvement. Some of the mistakes they're making are absolutely teachable/able to improve upon.

A lot of modern wrestling started in the Knoxville area. Smoky Mountain Wrestling was a big thing. If I'm not mistaken Randy Orton was born in Knoxville and his dad, Bob lived/lives in Knox. Also if I'm not mistaken WWE wrestler Kane is a Vols fan and lives nearby.

Anyways, it doesn't surprise me something like that exists. Thanks for sharing

"Payne - Playing some second team corner after playing more nickel in the spring. He's looked fine. Future may be a nickel back, though.

Lewis - Nothing has caught our eye to date.
Vickers - He's quietly had a fine camp so far. Nothing great, but not poor. Coming along fine and some think he will help this team in the future and be apart of the rotation this fall.

Henderson - Still learning to play at this speed against the big guys. Quick guy off the edge, just learning to play with technique.
Miller - Still trying to learn to play lower and use his strength.

Williams - He will be in the defensive tackle rotation this fall. O'Brien had a good summer and passed him up.

Creamer - Long, strong and athletic. He's still learning to play linebacker after not really playing defense in high school but the future is bright.

Bullock - He has done fine. He and Medley are battling for the starting kicker spot.

Ellis - He's with the first team right now at tight end. He's the biggest tight end and usually is very consistent. He and Wolf will be the first two tight ends in my opinion.

Jenkins - He's stayed healthy and that's meant it's the first team he's really got to practice since he's been on campus and looks fine. Still needs to continue to grind it out and show he can make some plays.

Stubbs - Too early to tell anything there.

Kendrick - Needs to play tougher. Needs to grasp the offense better, too."

That right there concerns me a lot. I don't feel confident at that position at all.

South Nashville going back to LLWS, their C hit a big grand slam in the bottom of the 5th

Congrats, and hopefully they do work in Williamsport

Colts get busy on this Friday night. They signed centerThomas Austin, guard Marcus Hall and wide receiver Nu’Keese Richardson.

I had no idea he wasn't in jail or even played football still
