Right... when cows fly. As hard as he tries, the fact is he is very inaccurate. The reason we have so many sideways passes is the receiver is virtually stationary so Worley can hit him. The reason we don't see many slants or crossing routes is he throws behind them almost always. Deep routes are out because he overthrows or underthrows. Not saying he is a bad Vol or doesn't work hard. He has reached his ceiling and we are seeing it just is not very high. He has given his all though and I hope he is wildly successful in his next endeavors after school.

Now they've went back and removed the part about Peterman coming in on the 3rd or 4th series. Hopefully it was just a typo and not Butch's super secret weapon lol

Hey, everyone thought Simms was garbage and he has been on a roster for four years. I don't think he'll make it to the NFL either, but it would be a nice story. We could say that our last four starting QBs are all getting paid to play professional football.

From what I've read, Sawyers isn't even remotely close to getting PT and it's starting to really affect his attitude.

It's weird because all I heard after NSD was that Sawyers was the most college ready of all the DL we signed. Maybe not the upside of Barnett or Hendrix but most thought he would at least be seeing some snaps on day 1. Talent wise, he's been underwhelming and his attitude isn't helping his case.

I feel like I need some clarification. What is everybody referring to when they say that Michael Sawyers is being processed? Maybe it's just early, but that term is not making sense to me. Processed into what? Rehab? A mental institution?

Is he still eligible for a redshirt this year?

Think of this like getting a shipment of apples. The apples that are considered "bad" or "unworthy" to be put on the shelf get processed out. In other words, they get thrown away.

IMO, I think this is a stunt by the staff to tell Sawyers "we are not going to put up with your attitude." This is a team, not a one person gun show. I'm sure they would love to have him, but if he is not going to be a team player (or decides himself that he wants to leave), then honestly it would be for the best if he is goes.

Hopefully Sawyers will get it together because we need all the DL we can get. Depth, depth, and more depth.

I remember the staff pursuing him hard before NSD to try to get him so IMO, he will be a great player for us once he gets his head on straight.
