I know this thread is strictly football talk :crazy:, but its about the Vols so it should be okay. The Lady Vols soccer team just beat Florida (ranked #8 in the country) in penalty kicks after tieing 1-1 in regulation to advance to the SEC tournament semifinals. They'll play the winner of Kentucky v. Auburn (who are currently playing) Friday evening.

I think its hilarious how John Adams is looking to try and trash Butch Jones about not playing Dobbs since the first game of the year.

He is a moron. I don't know why people cant understand that Dobbs has improved dramatically since the season started. It was even said in practice reports that it seemed like after the QB competition was over you really started to see Dobbs get better and better each week of practice. Worley deserved to start. Dobbs wouldn't be healthy right now if he was taking those beatings Worley took.

It's football and with really good coaches a player as talented as Dobbs can get a lot better in an 8 week period. Adams showing he knows nothing about football

Lattimore officially retires. I'll never forget that play and it worries me when watching any of the taller backs play. Kid was months away from financial freedom and in one play its gone. So sad. I wonder how Eric Gordon feels even though it wasn't intentional it still can mess with your head.

EG never did play the same, imo. Maybe I read too much into it but he just never did seem the same.

Ok I have a match-up question... All the experts + most of us fans have predicted that SC was the toughest match-up left on our schedule despite Mizzou winning the head to head match-up when they played this season and having a better record overall. So what are we basing this on?

Did you watch that game? South Carolina dominated it, but Mizzou found a way to score the last two drives. I think Mizzou only had like 200 yards of offense and Mauk was 12-32 passing.
