Go ahead and go with a complete name change... Knoxville Colosseum.

A magnificent structure that once featured valiant gladiators but later became a spectacle for the slaughter of the righteous.

People will walk by, gaze at its beauty, and wonder what it was like when the warriors in Orange and White were equipped for the fight

I think it's bat sh!t crazy to spend that amount of money on a stadium experience for 7 Saturdays a year as opposed to thing that contribute to winning.

What a time to be alive.

We’re expanding playing surface not only for NCAA football but we could also Now house a big time soccer match as well. (MLS or future fifa event).

Supposedly part of Currie’s plan is to try and save money on Butch’s buyout. So we’re worried about that. But hey, let’s spend $380 mil on renovations! Yay!

I think we’re losing sight of how great a job TN is. Just because we didn’t get the fan favorite(s) doesn’t mean we failed. There are many coaches who can win here. Remember, Serrano was the over whelming grand slam and fan favorite... total flop. It’s always a gamble for better or worse.

100+ thousand for a fifa match would generate a ton of money for the AD. Not sure how that’s dumb.

What, every decade? Nashville more or less has a stranglehold on soccer in the state. If the US cohosts the World Cup in 2026 as expected, Knoxville wouldn't get a game. And definitely not over Nashville.

I’m kinda frustrated at myself about how much I care about something that means so little.

Which part means so little? These decisions have a fairly substantial impact on the entire university system which is something that means a great deal to a lot of people.

Renovations also include some structural stuff-- repairing and widening ramps, updating restrooms and things like that. A lot of it's on the south side of the stadium, which has been a bit neglected.

There’s other exhibition matches and different events that are played. There’s nothing wrong with making Neyland nicer. It’s a dump on the inside lol. Just because gate 21 has bricks on the outside doesn’t make the stadium nice.

Man I don't give a ish about Gruden, I'm ticked because Currie and his puppet masters care more about effing FIFA than firing the garbage zombie and hiring a top shelf real football coach.

I find myself looking for the pieces of info I want to find but here are some that were not discussed here or FF enough.

AV's post about a secret booster meeting started by saying Gruden deal was rocky and an unnamed new coach was floated. (All we focus on is booster food fight)

Beav saying it is an all out war on hill
(Somehow this is an endorsement we are good)

Haslam is the holdout but it is his house that Gruden bought? Wtf

LAVOl telling us Currie is softening winning rhetoric

Currie investigates Kendrick but then nothing happens

Ughhh
