still funny folks on here debating Butch gone or not... HE GON. Some saying after his next loss... heck, at this point, just keep him and let him lose the remainder so his stock plummets.... Everyone knows Currie has this Ninja Master Plan and he's gonna make all of us eat crow by the end of November...

My VFL friend called to check on Antone tonight and he was unable to talk about it. My friend then talked with some players he knows on the current roster and they said what Antone stated was true. Believe what you want to believe - but it is true and more will come out at some point.

I honestly haven't thought about it enough but they're 5-0 in the conference and both he and his players in post game press comments on the field said they weren't celebrating tonight. Their goal is the conference championship. He said they played sloppy tonight. Of course there were stretches in the game where it was raining cats and dogs.

My first thoughts would be that he'd want to go somewhere that he could recruit to. For example is Miss State came open I wouldn't see that as a good job for him. Texas A&M or Auburn, maybe. Then again, he may need the raise in pay now, so who knows. Right now he just needs to keep winning. jmo.

Memphis 4th and goal on the one..power I formation and they punch it in. Norvell's offense on that drive was pretty fun to watch.

I honestly hope nothing more comes out. What I want is for him to be gone, UT to wash their hands of Jones and start fresh with a big name! The damage is done, no more incriminating deets are needed! Send the man packing!

Hopefully someone stops Butch tomorrow as he's running through the T thereby preventing Butch from reaching our sideline. At which point everyone stops what they're doing and stares silently and Butch. Then he puts his head down and walks back through the tunnel and we never hear from him again.

Or maybe it could go down similar to when Brian McCann prevented Carlos Gomez from reaching home plate.

At this point.. I don’t even care if it’s a big name. I just want some fresh air.

Here's the thing with Kiffin and us. People have a personal way of looking at it. The common reference I hear is the gf who dumped you. I don't see it that away. As I understand it he told us upfront not to get serious because he had a gf on the west coast that he wanted a LTR with but he would go out with us since she wasn't into him at the moment. When she called he went. We should have never hired him under those circumstances in the first place - assuming that is what happened. We're still pissed because even though he supposedly told us not to get serious, we did anyway, and then when he left, as he said he would do, we had to deal with rejection. It should have never happened but Hamilton so I'm not surprised. jmo.

Nothing good can come from this other than more oversight of how people are treated in the program. Antone is as nice a person as you want to meet based on my several conversations with him. The players thought of him highly and looked to him for advice and direction. Who knows what has been going on in Butch's head, but this job was way to big for him.

Agree. I personally don't hate Kiffin for leaving. It'd be like someone on here coaching at USC and getting an offer from TN. I'm sure every person on this board would come here without asking questions😂
