Living in WV, I know a couple of guys who are involved with WVU, and one with Cincinnati. The cinci guy got us very good tix to the Bristol game.
They all have shared similar opinions of Jones. They all like him as a person,and know him personally, andby personally, I mean one has vacationed with him. All have said what are now hearing about publicly.

Anthony Miller is a great WR and will get a shot in the NFL.

Their young backup QB played a few weeks ago, and he has nice potential. He is quick, so the offense will probably more run oriented.

TAMU will go after Morris. If this Gruden thing is just smoke, which I think it is, then perhaps Curry has some B12 ties Gary Patterson. Fact is it's rare for P5 guys to leave. They have have a reason, like Bielama leaving Wisconsin or Paul Chryst going to Pitt. I don't think we settle for an up and comer. It will either be Mullen, Fuente, Sumlin, Petrino.

Chris Lowe is doing a piece on Patterson and said that TN ship sailed when he was turned down when we ultimately hired Kiffin. Sailed enough that it was basically a blessing he hadn't. Makes it that much more important to get this hire right.

He attended the signing ceremony. When Anthony Miller was a senior at Christian Brothers High School, he attended the signing ceremony along with everyone else. He sat at a long table. He put on a Memphis hat. He posed for photos and he picked up a pen and he signed the paper that was in front of him.

Except, for Miller, that paper was different than for the other players.

“There was nothing on it,” he said. “It was just a piece of paper. I still have the picture.”

It’s a reminder of how far Miller has come.

Just my opinion but you don't fire Kevin Sumlin to hire Chad Morris. You could sell firing Butch Jones for him though.

Kiffin is a good OC and play caller. He is not a good, long term HC. Personally I don't like him not because he left, but how he left. Calling or having Ogre call and tell recruits not to show up for early enrollment. Also, trying to steal some of the recruits. He is and will always be a scumbag.

I don't think that's how it went down. Some have said that he lobbied for the job for some time before Fulmer was let go. He left us in a huge lurch with a class that was smoke and mirrors. Then, we panicked and hired Dooley and here we are.

Guys I’m no insider but I talk to some people. TiFWIW, but I’ve heard we have hired Gruden. He knows MNF is about to go under on ESPN and he’s been looking for a new gig. So in 2018 he will be inside Neyland Stadium on Gameday.

There was a big battle between the boosters and AD and other guys with the power. Punches were thrown, shots were fired, the law was called, and in the end a compromise was reached:

Gruden is replacing Tim Priest.

Apparently, watching this season of godawful football has really effected Tim’s health and he wants to spend more time with his family. Gruden will step in and work with Kessling doing color commentary.

We’re keeping Butch for 2018 as head coach but apparently they’re going to get him one of those transistor head sets and Gruden will call plays during the broadcast.

Again, TiFWIW. It could all turn out to be false but I really trust the guy I got it from I’ll even reveal my source: His name is Mike he works at the meat counter at Food City and he’s never steered me wrong before.

It was more that he was like a used car salesman type of thing. Just did not trust him. I think Jones did repair it but is definitely hurting it the longer he stays.
