I went back and looked, I’m almost positive we used a different head trainer last night.

I think it would be fascinating if Frost stayed at UCF and then they joined a power 5 conference. I’d love both USF and UCF to do that. Would put them on sound footing and let them start taking more Florida recruits from UF. Might do to UF what all those Texas schools have done to Texas. I can dream.

Sad thing is, if Butch would have only kept Lawson and his apparent strict workout and disciplined summer workouts, he would've probably won the east last year and be having a much better year this year.......strength coach means so much to a program. When Lawson left, this team went straight downhill. These guys went to Tuscaloosa and wore bama out when they should've got beat bad.

I liked those first couple of years, the guys played their asses off... We didn't have much talent but they were dogs, they never gave up

I doubt anything happens. Would sure be strange if it did. I think Butch takes these next three losses and bows out. Doesn’t make sense to let him go (or for him to leave) this late in the season when there have been plenty of reasons to go sooner.

Crazy to think about but in one month the Butch Jones era will be over and the Dan Mullen era will have just begun.

That first time we played Oklahoma and Sutton blasted one of their WRs, I remember thinking, "If we can get the talent, we can hang with anyone if they play with that kind of mean streak."

Lawson, man. Unfortunately, now Volnation understands the importance of a S&C guy. I wonder if that wasn't part of why Fulmer's later teams didn't have the edge that his 90s teams did.

We still don’t give up for the most part - we are in most games. I think the biggest difference is that those teams were disciplined, they weren’t over confident and they didn’t beat themselves.

It's been a long time, but I feel like I remember Fulmer's later teams setting a lot a bench press records but there being a lot of talk about lower body work bring neglected.

I think the Big12 has to expand eventually, and with WVU the lone school out east it would make sense for them to spread that way. Orlando is a huge TV market and they do decent enough in other sports like baseball and basketball that I would think they would be one of the more attractive targets

If so, it explains many of the discipline problems Butch has now, if its that easy for players to get what they want, it also explain the ridiculous amount of injuries as well
