It’s easy to pile on butch and take the “everything comes back to him bc he’s the head coach” approach but these are P5 atheletes. They shouldn’t need to be babysat. It’s a whole culture thing that started with Dooley. The year we went up to Milligan for camp...all accountability went out the window.

Can you elaborate on that Hank? I was on Volquest then and remember slightly but need a refresher.

I may be in the minority, but I think chances are better at landing Gruden than Mullen. I don't see Mullen leaving Starkville. It's all a ploy by Sexton to get his client more money, and we're likely the next open position that he exploits. I'll have to be convinced on that one.

From what I’ve heard, Jennings is still in class and plans on graduating early so he can transfer if he wants. He still wants to play another year. I don’t by any means claim to be an insider nor do I know JJ personally, but I do work with his stepmom. What I post in that regard, comes from her.

I'm all for Butch getting the rest of the season at this point. Announce Gruden during the 1st quarter of the SECCG and force ESPN to cover it during halftime, lol.

I am too. I’m frustrated but the man deserves to finish what he started and close out with his team. The results will be better with than without. Unlike some, I don’t hate Butch. He was an upgrade over Dooley and I like him.

Didn’t work out. Treat him with respect and let him finish and say his goodbyes. Then get an ace.

Not doubting you, but where can I read this? Sounds like you did.

I already said today and a month or so ago-- I spoke to a high level UT booster on my kid's spring break in WaterColor FL that knew Rock personally. He broke down the situation I explained, and at the time also said Currie wanted to keep Butch as long as possible. This was two days after the GA game.
