I'm more embarrassed about losing to Kentucky for only the 2nd time in my lifetime. Maybe just me though.

So let me get this straight. You're more embarrassed about something fans had nothing to do with and can't be blamed for than you are about something that fans have total control of?

You're more embarrassed about a group of guys at least trying to win a game than you are about a group fans withholding their support for said players all because said fans aren't getting their way?

There are only a few hires out there that I think will concern SEC opponents. Frost is one of them. That's good enough for me.

Agree. Outside of Alabama fans, Frost would be a hire that's feared across the SEC, if people are being honest with theirselves. If he's hired at Florida and we hire a Bobo/Norvell type, he's getting ready to run Tennessee for a good ten years IMO.

All three RB's looked very good to me. All three looked fast and physical.

I'm very impressed with that group. Gillespie is by far the best coach on staff, from a pure results standpoint IMO. Chandler and Jordan are gonna be a heck of a combo over the next couple of years. Fils-Aime looks really good as well.

Agree to an extent in the UK game. This may be the least of the losses to blame on coaches. Many plays that were not made in that game would have given us a victory. Also Bituli and Gaulden being boneheads.

I agree. Meant more from a developmental standpoint. If we had coaches who could develop their players, we would have mopped the floor with them the other night.

For me it was just overall lack of discipline. If we didn’t have a coach on the hotseat hanging out in the wind with negativity swirling everywhere and our best player suspended, I think the team plays much more focused and drills Kentucky by 3 TDs. We are a mess as a team right now though. I expect 8 losses. Win a close one this weekend and then we lose out to finish the year.

Can't wait for Coach Bobo to trot out there for that presser with his orange tie on.

Vols4us, sorry to respond here but the other thread was closed and I don't know how to respond there.

I was reading bits and pieces of your questions about the Charleston area and thought I could help. I've lived in the area for 20 years and have moved while here a few times, so I know a bit about the housing market.

Columbia is actually just a little over 100 miles from MP, depending on exactly where you live in each. MP and James Island are both very expensive and crowded. But Johns Island isn't nearly as bad, yet. It's close to downtown Charleston. But it's growing and gonna get crowded too.

I realize everyone is looking for something different, but I believe Summerville is very over rated. It's cheaper than MP and the 2 islands I mentioned, but every bit as crowded and a lot further away from Charleston. I'm speaking of true Summerville. There are areas around it that aren't really Summerville, but are called Summerville per postal address.

Some areas of the Goose Creek/Moncks Corner area very nice, much cheaper, and not nearly as crowded. But depending on exactly where you live and work in Charleston you're probably still looking at a 1 hour commute, like Summerville.

You could also look north or west of MP (like toward Moncks Corner) for cheaper housing with more property. But either way this place is booming and getting expensive. Finally, there are good and bad schools in each district. Btw, I'm a high school teacher here.
