I actually agree with you. I was exuberant in my endorsement of Brohm and down on Doeren, but if Doeren is going to be the hire, there’s no point in trashing him all over the internet—it’s counterproductive. Might as well give him a fair shot—he’s done well before. It’s been a while since we had a coach that had led a team to the Orange Bowl.

There is a point. A huge one. To let these traitors know that we are not going to take it anymore. I get it, I was right where you are at for the last 12 long years, I also though it counterproductive and stupid, and I railed on anyone here that was honestly ripping the incompetence of Butch Jones, Derek Dooley and lane Kiffin...Until Florida beat that fraud Jones again, and then the pathetic display against UMass, and utter humiliation of the Georgia game..and then I realized I had been wrong. I will not do that again, I will not support a coach that is obviously outmatched and not worthy of the job.

If you throw out Doeren’s year 1 at NCSU, his conference record the last 4 years is comparable to Miles’s. Doeren also took a team to the Orange Bowl prior to NCSU. The main point is that if you looked at Saban’s record at MSU and especially Miles’s record at OSU, you never would have guessed they’d go on to be the powerhouses they were/are in the SEC.
Yeah and if you take out Miles and Saban’s first years, their records look better too. Add in Saban’s year at Toledo and they differ even more.

Miles had a much tougher rebuild at OSU and did better. His success was surprising, but he was also going to a program that Saban had built.

Saban and Doeren’s records aren’t comparable whatsoever. Trying to claim they are is intellectually dishonest.

But we might not have to worry about enduring him if he realizes he isn’t wanted here and stays at NCSU.

It is disingenuous to the extreme.

Probably some coach in the FCS that failed in the big leagues. Because Tennessee

Hey...you wanna argue about Mehlan like in the good ol days? 🤔 You know six days ago feels like an eternity doesn't it? It is so weird, and sad. 😢 I would sell a nut to have a chance at the great Meh now.

Mullen would be a great hire for Tennesse😁 So glad our administration is smart enough to have him in our back pocket😭

This whole week has just been a big blur, I just want it to end already.

I wonder if Schiano was actually #1 with Currie all along insanity if so.

Interestingly had Florida been able to land Kelly we’d likely already have Mullen. Crazy how things turn out

That’s assuming Currie really would have reached out to Mullen. Not sure he did so as anything more than a formality with no intention of follow through.

True. The big question would be if he would have reached out to him after Sunday. I mean surely since we went after Gundy, He’s not dumb to not give Mullen an actual offer, right?!?!😂😭

We thought the idea was to hire a good football coach. Apparently that’s not even the game

So what was thr update from last night? I know thst Doraen is mulling our offer over night and NCST had countered with an upgrade. Skeeter is going to twitter to revolt, didn't get that twitter handle. Anything else?

How awesome would it be if this protest happens at Gate 21 on Saturday, and there ends up being as many fans there as there is on gameday? Think that would send the message? They would have to send in the National Guard or a SWAT team to break that up.

MIT

I just can’t understand this. Why do you want to burn the program of your alma mater down? Did the Haslams say they were donating all of this money to the university over all of these years, but somehow have something set up that is kicking their money back to them without it being traceable? I have no idea how you do that kind of thing, but I’m sure they do. Something much deeper than TN football is being covered up here.

Take it with a grain of salt.

This has been Beaver’s agenda all along. Y’all can believe it or not. It’s very clear there was a plan laid out a long time ago to get the Haslams out of the power role. They have been executing this for a long time. I hope this thing ends the way he is implying it can if we can get past Doeren taking the job.
