Haslam and Currie will force whatever hire they want down our throats. Twitter ain't going to stop it, emails ain't going to stop it, protest ain't going to stop it. Painting the rock ain't going to stop it. They'll hire whomever they want. The fan's will lose this battle but we need to win the war. The only way to win this war is to let it go.

I look at it as if you have an adult child that's went astray. You keep bailing him/her out time after time. You love that child with all the fiber of your being but all your efforts prove fruitless. When you keep bailing out your child you become part of the problem. You become an enabler.

If you really want to fix this you have to let them crash it on their own. Walk away. Do something else with your money. Let the Haslams have it. Make them support it. They don't think you'll walk away. They are like the drug dealer, they are counting on your addiction. You really want to fix it? DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MORE OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! It's hard, no doubt but that's the only thing that will fix it.

Pruitt is now on hold at State. He thinks he will get the Fl state job if Jimbo goes. That will leave Taggart in Oregon

waiting on Brohm for a week to save money is dumb if that's what they're doing. They will lose a week of recruiting during this contact period and then have 1 week left.

So after reading this thread it's clear to see their are a few people being paid to post on here pro AD BS. Can anyone guess who it is?

Bruin, I generally think that people on here give you a little too much grief. I think that a lot of your posts are sincere and can be defended.

But your post above is ridiculous. There are multiple forces at work that are ruining our program, but don't you dare put it on the fans. The amount of sh!t we have taken over the last 10 years is incomprehensible. But we still give our money, we still show up to the games, we are still passionate even though our university takes us for granted and never rewards our loyalty.

We are a great fanbase...better than the current (and multiple former) administration deserves. If Doeren accepts our purported offer, they are about to see and feel just how much they have taken us for granted.

The fanbase is the one trying to save it. There is no program left if they hire Doeren because no one is going to the games.

I put blame on a number of places. Yes the fans are one major one but not the only one.

This is UT! Everyone hates us anyhow! We might as well get our guy and take our da**program back. I give two craps what people who talk bad about us have to say. They have been doing it for years. UT is a island and the fans are the island savages.

To be perfectly clear (which I thought I had already been), I am not defending Bahama John and crew at all. In fact, I believe my words yesterday included “first-ballot hall of fame incompetence.”
