It's like they found out we were mostly good with Brohm and decided to squash it.

Drylo and Hank act like AD plants imo. In here talking garbage about us for hating garbage hires. Doeren is a crap coach. Just like Butch was crap and Dooley was crap. I will not accept a crap coach. Don't blame us for telling the truth, and openly calling it what it is, the national media is garbage for taking a crap on us too. We are loyal, we are passionate, we pour our hearts and hard earned money into something that gives us **** in return. It is not wrong for us to call this dunghill what it is...a steaming pile of ****...edit: I apologize for the over the top remark, but I do not apologize for defending true Volunteers.

The Boosters aren't some big group like a rock band. They don't get together and form booster opinions or express their preferences in booster voting blocs. People are buying into a myth that boosters have all this power. Boosters give money, get better seats and have greater access-- they don't run the university or have the authority to do anything at all.

What on earth would cause them to withdraw an offer that was accepted and generally favorable from fans? Are they literally flaunting power to the fans?

LOL I have absolutely nothing to do with the AD (other than being a modest season ticket holder). Just looking at Twitter and seeing our fans @ing Doeren and telling him not to come is embarrassing though. It’s a very bad look for our program. Vol Twitter is repeating the Schiano affair this very moment and thinks it’s an accomplishment to be proud of. I just don’t get it. There is a good chance Doeren is the next head coach at UT, and he could succeed here, but our fans aren’t going to give him a chance to. He’s done well at NC State (though his record doesn’t blow you away, his teams have improved substantially per S&P+ during his time there), and their people don’t want him to go. Our fans are telling him to stay. Just embarrassing.

The Haslams do and have for years. With Bill in Nashville he controls any Capital projects and funding for UT. You noticed how much construction is on that campus??

And Jim,Jimmy,and Bill give from the pilot side. If you don't think it's a 360° stranglehold you are sadly mistaken.
