They are, and it is embarrassing and counterproductive. Seriously. How is that going to help? Is VolTwitter supposed to do this to 10 more people until we finally offer Tee? Is that the goal? It’s just stupid. And it looks awful.

If Doeren doesn't take the job, it's a win for us. If we force Haslam and Currie's hand enough, then maybe they'll have to finally pursue someone worth a s*** and offer them what they're worth.

They've done nothing but target guys who have no place in Knoxville along with one guy who everybody in the country knew was making a power play and will never leave his alma mater (which is probably why Currie met with him in the first place).

You’re right. We shouldn’t even give him a chance if he’s hired. Just tell all the players to transfer and recruits to go elsewhere. That will really show ‘em.

Maybe if we’re cruel enough and obnoxious enough, we can even make Doeren turn us down so we can hire Kevin Steele. Even better.

You are a stooge. A sheep of the worst kind. I have never used that term before now, you are the problem. The bend over and take it crowd. I'm done with that, I've done it for 12 years, I am sick of being abused, and I'm sick of you and your stupid crap. Doeren is a crappy mediocre coach. He will do nothing but get fired, and drive us even farther into the abyss. Hire a good coach...it is that simple. I was on board with Brohm, he has potential greatness in him, Doeren is a dead end. But you are probably getting your way, we are going to hire this crap sandwich and you will find out by February how crappy of a hire this is. Of course you will probably blame that on us too. Have fun on game days next year with the other 75,000 sheep tgat will be there watching my beloved Vols get their teeth kicked in every week.

So Haslam screwed Hyams? Or the other way around?

Since No one in AD is on the same page and it looks like power plays are everywhere, someone in AD leaked Brohm to Hyams and told him it was done. Whoever did this did not want Brohm, so this was their attempt to sabotage Brohm’s Hire. It worked. More than likely they were not against Brohm. They simply just were not getting their way.

We are dealing with a group of overpaid, childish, elitist who care for nothing but maintaining their own power and control. They are just like our federal gov’t.

They could care less whether we win a single football game as long as they get their way.

Tee has proven nothing to show he is the man for this job. If Fulmer and others (other than Swain and Stallworth and Big Al) thought he was the guy for the job, he’d be getting more traction.

Fulmer has got 0% say in this coaching search. From what I heard it's been purely Haslam and Peyton.

And just who do you expect us to be able to lure to Knoxville, especially at this point after our fans have just filibustered two or more hires?

Fans didn't screw up the Brohm deal. Your fearless leaders. Most everyone would have accepted him with open arms.

Because Steele won 20% of his games as a head coach and Doeren took his G5 team to the Orange Bowl before improving NC state and having several winning seasons there.

Steele at least has SEC roots and a likely playoff run to his name.

Doeren hasn't made NCSU any better than they were under Tom O'Brien. They've actually been slightly worse.

He would be a much worse hire than Steele or Tee.

It is not stupid, It is the only power we have to stop this crap. What is awful is what the pathetic UT admin is doing and has done. Blame them stooge.

Fulmer has had little to no input in this coaching search. Haslam and Currie DGAF what he thinks

Doeren isn’t “getting my way.” I said emphatically and repeatedly that there was no excuse for us not locking up Brohm. But for whatever reason, that didn’t work out, and it looks like Doeren may be the guy. If so, I will not bash him on social media. I may or may not renew my season tix, but I definitely won’t go out of my way to undermine our coach. And I also won’t embarrass myself, my family and UT by @ing Doeren on Twitter and telling him he isn’t welcome in Knoxville.

NCSU has been significantly better under Doeren than under O’Brien. The win totals are similar, I know, but the teams have gone from below average to top-25 based on S&P+.

Oh BS Doeren has had a negative impact on his team in most advanced metrics. Nobody in the national media respects him

I agree, I don't think bashing DD is the right way to do it. I think emailing Joe and Bev and the BOT and telling them you aren't happy with what is going on is the right way to go. Call the AD and tell them you aren't renewing your season tickets until this mess is straightened and you see who the coach is. That's what I did. Brohm was my tipping point.

This is their 4th try at getting this right. If they didnt want the wrath of Volnation brought down on them, they should have gotten it right before now.

Everything that happens to these clowns from here on out is deserved.

Good stooge...I don't get why letting someone know that nobody besides a few stooges want him here is wrong, it is actually a kindness imo.
