Patterson and Petersen are equally interesting IMO. Both are home runs. Patterson got the benefit of the program bump with Franchione before him doing well and building a better roster. Petersen got the benefit of Hawkins doing the same thing before him. Both predecessors were successful and stepped up to bigger programs. Petersen did it again at WU. What it tells me is they can capitalize on a situation that has not totally cratered and stable. If either has something to work with they can build on it and take it to even higher levels. That would be the case at UT.

Junior. So he's draft eligible. Currie wants to keep as many players as possible for the next coach. (25 limits looks to hurt us this year if many leave). So he "leaks" some name to the players to make them excited and want to come back

They will know who the coach is before they have to make those decisions.

Not saying he did or didn't signed. But IF Gruden sign and didn't want it announced until a certain date. If you are Currie don't you wait until that date?

That's why I didn't understand the argument WNML was making the other day. I understand you would WANT to announce it as soon as possible. But I think in reality you announce it when Gruden says he wants it announced.

Well, according to Josh and Will, the fact that they have not announced it proves that no one has been signed. Never mind that there might be actual reasons why it has not been announced.

I so, so hope we get him, just to hear the stuttering backpedals and excuses all of our media will make. And Clay Travis will gloat and it will be glorious.

Or how about the fact that coaching hires almost NEVER get announced before the season is over. We have found one instance of it happening and it was at FIU.
