People entertaining the idea of Lane Kiffin.....do you have no pride? If you caught the plumber banging your wife would you call him to fix your leaky faucet a few years later?

It's mind blowing. I would burn my diploma and find a new team if they ever hired Lane Kiffin again.

That settles it. Obviously the best coach available!

Somebody posted a similar hypo the other day, but Kiffin wants to come, and he can bring Trevor Lawrence and Cade Mays with him.

Do you take him?

Hell no

Don’t think beaver is trolling. I really think he’s part of a group of big money guys trying to lead Tennessee in a winning direction.

I think him trying to “wake up Tennessee fans” by insulting anyone on twitter that disagrees with him suggest he is a spoiled brat. Whether he is actually telling the truth and connected to boosters or not I don’t know. I don’t think he is doing anything to actually help the situation.

The program and university did a great job of releasing their smokescreens over the last week and enforcing the hush command to those in the inner circle who had been chirping to their most trusted associates.

They also effectively imposed their will thru a lot of the local and national media. Examples are Hyams, who has said that Gruden is absolutely not happening, and then some others who have written articles questioning Gruden’s potential effectiveness at the college level while hilariously claiming that UT had very little desire to pursue Gruden.

I’m going to continue to take it easy on here while we all wait for the inevitable. Can’t wait to watch the basketball team tomorrow against a really good opponent to temporarily satisfy my intense need for some winning action from the University of Tennessee and an opportunity to embrace the pride that I hold in my alma mater.

I look forward to the next several weeks, though. I plan to forgive anyone and everyone who asks for forgiveness for blindly and shamelessly attacking my character and moral fiber. Thankfully, the good Lord always supplies me with all of the strength and perseverance that I need, and the past few weeks is no different.

To my brothers and sisters of Vol Nation,
We draw near to the time when we will gather together, laying down our swords at the feet of our own enemies; the enemies that we so falsely made during the seasons of hardship and repeated failure which caused us to lose sight of the prize and to forget the responsibility that all those who came before us entrusted us with as Volunteers. We will give tremendous thanks and gratitude for the blessings that the good Lord shall soon bestoweth upon us, and we will join hands in harmony, together singing the words of our cherished anthem, joyfully singing on high:

“Rocky Top you’ll always be Home Sweet Home to me. Good ol’ Rocky Top (WOOH), Rocky Top Tennessee.”

This thing is really going to happen!!!!

I'm of the mindset that Kiffin should never step foot in Knoxville again except as opposing coach. Some people appear to be on the fence, or "sorta" no, so I wondered if a pot sweetener would move them to the "pro" column.

As to why ask the question...because it's a discussion board?

Personally, I prefer the construction metaphors.

I would never accept Lane.

I'm having trouble going all in on Mullen. Maybe because I think he might be a Tyndall or the recruits we want may be as Meh as some of our posters.

Not going to argue about this, just a feeling.

Can’t stand that guy.

I think what annoys me most about 90% of that station is they are LAZY when reporting about Tennessee. You can tell they don’t do any real research and everything they discuss about us is just their personal opinion on how they perceive things.

I listen to Free Beer and Hot Wings in the morning.
