I mean if I am Currie and unless you already have someone else in the bag, you have to make that call to gauge interest, rather than just unilaterally dismissing the possibility. Stupid not to. But agreed, it was probably just gauging interest, nothing more.

You interview Mullen Friday and he loves it and wants the job. But he wants to announce it Monday so he can get a head start on recruiting, etc

However, you have scoped out Patterson and Peterson who have at least a mild interest in the job and would interview. But they wouldn't want to interview until after championship week.

Do you take Mullen or pass him up for a chance at Patterson or Peterson

Yes, I am on mobile. I downloaded an ad blocker since I was getting the less intrusive ones earlier too and that has worked.

Oh I'm not just talking about this search. Since 2012, I've read about getting spurned by Cutcliffe, Gundy, Strong, and Kelly, just to name a few. Just sick of things like this headline and comments by folks like that Crist guy making the UT football program out to be bunch of has beens and never will agains.

The fanbase as a whole needs to quit giving attention to these media hacks when they troll us. This guy needs attention cause he’s a nobody. We give him that when we acknowledge him.

You know that's not going to happen. AD needs to do their part and change the narrative so that retarded hot takes like that don't get the fanbase whipped up into such a frenzy. They work because fans are sensitive about the state of the program.
