Something that should be more secretive than any of the things I mentioned yet they know exactly when he signed a contract?

It's because they are getting information from boosters who hope to be in the know with a new hire. Those same boosters don't get immediate information about the actual team.

I don't believe their information is wrong. You just can't believe that it's a "done deal." I do think Beaver is an interesting character, and he has been mostly correct so far. In order for AtlantaVol to vouch for him, he is connected.

I highly doubt money was even mentioned so I wouldn’t call it turning us down. Like you and another poster said, it was just due diligence IMO.

It's working so far. Could be that the trigger is here. No other sites were triggering it, but maybe I got the disease from one of those other tramp websites. I promise I only visited TOS once, and I didn't even enjoy it.

Lol I hear ya on that. He mentioned this way back around mid season when Butch was still here but everyone knew Butch was leaving. It was just one sentence in one post that included a few points so it wasn’t a post specific to Kelly.

If I’m Currie I don’t mind this being out there though. If we wind up with coach mcgoogle, he can at least say we tried.

I cleared everything, and it went away for a minute, then it came back. I switched to desktop for a while, now I'm back on mobile, no problems so far. I did not clear my cache again when I returned to mobile, but it's working fine anyway.

The terminology can be ambiguous. What most likely happened is Currie spoke to Chip's agent. Said this is the AD at UT. Does your client have any interest in the coaching position at UT? Agent calls Currie back and says his client is not interested in coaching at UT but thanks for the consideration. A reported describes that encounter as "turning UT down" because technically that is what happened. Did Chip get an offer to become the next HC at UT.....highly highly doubtful.

I guess we will know whether that is the case within a week or so.

If Kelly lands at UF though, my guess is we will be googling our next coach’s name.

I have had a low opinion of our administration...I'll give you an analogy that may better explain my feelings.

Like having a Burger King management team run a Ruth's Chris Steak house.
