Not going to buy that. Prior to word revision game playing it was philosophies. However, words still maintained their meaning at that point or else the new philosophy could not be fully understood. So why should I believe what once was not, but now is, will not be once again?

My worldview comes from God and his Word. I view language and symbol revisionism as just another tool in the belt for those that seek to control others for personal and corporate agendas. The tool will eventually wear out and be replaced with something else.

Mmmhmm.

Man, hopefully Currie announces soon cause we need some good news and positive vibes for a change.

Until then, y'all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and be blessed.

Go Big Orange.

Somebody doesn't watch Key and Peels. That man is a stone cold killer

I used to never ever leave the RF. That was back when recruiting was going well. It's gone downhill over the last few months.

No need to go in any thread in the FF except Gruden Thread. It's good times there, insanity outside.

I will be glad when our coach is hired. Tough keeping up with both threads.

The more I think about the JJ situation, the more I think Currie had a big say.

I think he (Currie) is trying to sell himself to potential coaches. As if to say I have your back.

Literally? Like, all of it?

Take the word cool. It used to mean colder. Now it also means something hip or neat. Does that count?

Pedantic again. You called me sensitive...not a snowflake (eye roll emoji)

What is race baiting about this? All I’ve done is try to explain why people don’t like the word being used to describe black people. Show me how I’ve done anything to the contrary.

You rant about the literal definition. We try to explain that it’s not about the definition, it’s about the intention behind it.

Well my lawyer 26 year old younger brother and I have been discussing this since my last post. I understand your point a little better now, but he also understands mine. I am 49 years old, my perception of the word is mainly formed from a few books on WW2 I read when I was around 10-11 years old. The desciption of Nazi stormtroopers and Italian facists being called "jackbooted thugs" was my first encounter with the word. I do not and never have just pictured any particular race of people upon hearing this word.
