Since this is the rf, I'll ask a recruiting question. Is there anything short of hiring Gruden that will salvage the 2018 class?
Lets make a big deal out of this just to see if we can get Hubbs to go to the airport again.🤣
With reports out that Mullen is staying in Starkville it's pretty clearly gonna be Schiano or Campbell.
If that's the case I'll take an extra large chicken noodle soup please.
Come on man. How has he been teasing us with Jon Gruden?

Dude gives the biggest grin when asked about Gruden during his presser and doesn't flat out squash the rumors in any way.
Beverly Davenport likes a tweet about Gruden and still nothing leaked out by the University that Gruden is not a possibility.
The AD is well aware of this site and I promise you if they wanted to they could tell Hubbs, LWS or anyone else on this site with credibility that Gruden is not in a play and that it's time to move on, but instead information has been leaked out that makes LWS believe Gruden is our number candidate right now and Hubbs has heard it was a done deal, but won't believe it till he sees it.
Trust me, there are plenty of ways to make sure our fan base knows Gruden is not a real possibility and never was. However nothing of any substance has been put out by Tennessee to extinguish this hope of Gruden.
No formal dismissal of all the rumors.
If Gruden was never a legitimate candidate, it's malpractice for him to let those rumors fester to the point now that a majority of the fan base expects Gruden to be the next coach.
Especially when Gruden has gone along with the rumors by saying "never say never" and "Rocky top" on radio.
Remember Currie had fans yelling at him to "bring Gruden home" after the LSU game. He can't play dumb to the talk among a majority of the fan base regarding Gruden. If he was never a legit candidate, a competent AD would have respectfully ended that speculation. The fact Currie hasn't ended leads many to think it's still gonna be Gruden as the next Tennessee football coach.
When do college ADs ever officially and publicly dismiss specific people as a candidate?
Besides, maybe he's not dismissed him cause he's either still a candidate or he's agreed to a deal already.
