Couldn’t all the stuff about a Sunday announcement, staff being told to be ready, and operations people being on call just be a case of them trying to be proactive on the off chance they did need everyone today?

I mean, it’s the only day out of the next 6 they won’t be working and it’s probably easier to call them off/stand them down than it is to try and scramble to get everyone in on a Sunday without prior notice.
