Will not support this hire at all. Didn't know about the Penn State stuff. I'm out if it happens.

Feeling physically ill right now. LWS said it was going to be insane leading up to the hire.

Well I've lost faith in Currie. Thing about it is, let's say the hire somehow gets blocked, what's he gonna do now? Talk about scramble mode. All this time I've had a quiet confidence about Currie. Loved how he's handled this search up until now.

I'm not worried about the coaching side of it, I think he is a good fit for that. I just can't even think about supporting a man that turned a blind-eye to child abuse. And this is not just hearsay, this is sworn testimony. **** this administration

He doesn’t get to make the hire if blocked. That move signifies you are incompetent and are being relieved of your duties.

That's Currie's big hire? Of all the coaches out there this is the best Currie can do? If this is true, how much more embararressing can it get for UT and the fan base after the team we just watched this year. How disheartening. Discouraging. Underwhelming.

Given McQuery was the reason the whole Sandusky thing came out he has a lot of credibility. Most of the other stuff McQuery said was true, so why would I think this is a lie?

There is plenty of reason to believe that story was fabricated. However, that doesn't stop it from being brought up and attached to Shiano's name. And that alone is not good.

Poster on TOS saying this is a battle between Haslam and Currie. Currie floated this out hoping for this backlash that's occuring. It seems to be working as many have voiced their displeasure, including higher ups. This may not get done.

IDK where things stand. If the deal isn't finalized, it can be rejected, changed or withdrawn. There could be a time element.

UT just cannot get out of its own way. It's abnormal how self-destructive this university is.
