Booger McFarland throwing shade. No I will not post it.

I am nauseous. He might be a good coach but this is just bad and completely tone deaf.

I'm not worried about the coaching side of it, I think he is a good fit for that. I just can't even think about supporting a man that turned a blind-eye to child abuse. And this is not just hearsay, this is sworn testimony. **** this administration

It 100% is hearsay. Read the sworn testimony.

Currie was arrogant, aloof, and tone deaf at KSU.

Currie was arrogant, aloof, and tone deaf in his firing of Butch.

Currie has been arrogant, aloof, and tone deaf in this coaching search.

he hasn’t done a single thing right.
Job one should have been firing Butch as soon as he got the AD job. Then he let him linger as HC past the UGA drumming. Currie should be relieved of his duties by Monday evening

What happened to all the big time coaches who were calling us, beating out door down wanting the job??

If this ends up being true I have no choice but to be done with anything UT. Sickening

At least I don’t have to plan my weekends around it anymore.

My husband just echoed what Ron said-- Won't believe this brain dead crap until he's standing at the Podium.

Grasping at straws here but could this be a scenario where Currie could not get any big name so he floats Schiano out so people will say "shew, at least it's not Schiano!"?

If true, until the House of Haslam as Basilio called it, is no longer actively involved in UT this is the type of stuff you can expect. In a normal environment Currie, DePietro and crazy Bev would never have been hired. But they help pay for nice buildings. What were they thinking with the Anderson Training facility? What a waste of money that was.

Being tone deaf to a devoted and beleaguered fan base is cruel, hypocritical, and financially stupid. There is no win-win here. Most of us will never support the program because of Schiano leading it regardless of team success - which will not happen as well.

Like I said last night, just when you think things can get worse with Tennessee football, they inevitably get worse. Fire every single person in that administration. We need orange blood back in there. Will be the only way to get us out of this. Had Blackburn, had Fulmer, and we let Jim Haslam crap all over those two in order to get someone in there that he can control.

Poster on TOS saying this is a battle between Haslam and Currie. Currie floated this out hoping for this backlash that's occuring. It seems to be working as many have voiced their displeasure, including higher ups. This may not get done.

So SchiaNO is Haslam’s guy??

Well I've lost faith in Currie. Thing about it is, let's say the hire somehow gets blocked, what's he gonna do now? Talk about scramble mode. All this time I've had a quiet confidence about Currie. Loved how he's handled this search up until now.

Agreed. I'm beginning to think this is all smoke. The sheer amount of blow back is staggering!!!
