I believe you have to trust your AD when it comes to selecting a coach. By this, I am talking about the new coach's ability to assemble a staff, recruit, coach up, and field a winning football team.
If it were not for this Penn State stuff, I would probably be pushing back at people protesting. I would be saying, "Give him a chance." Maybe Currie sees something that we don't. However, with the perception - and perhaps reality - that Schiano may have been complicit, I just fail to understand the reasoning here.
I just can't see this happening, and I hope we haven't waited too late on other targets. I am assuming we have already waited too late on Mullen.
