This ought to be at least fun to watch Currie try and carry on a normal work or personal day moving foward. The guy will have to literally hire security 24/7. He will be hated and he will know by people's daily actions against him that he is hated.

And don't let Gruden off easy either. This egotistical idiot could have stopped most of this by simply saying he wasn't interested, but as of this minute, has never said a thing except F with the fanbase ... I feel really sorry for his kid, he will most likely have to transfer. I said this yesterday, what kind of father knowingly puts his kid in that kind of potential situation to selfishly stroke his ego? He better be booed and blackballed from anything and everything UT moving forward.

Hey UT, good luck getting the funds for the rebuild...

My nephew is a freshman political science major at UT and he just sent me i got you man this will not happen without contest. They are gona raise hell he said. Schiano should just say you know what, maybe this is a bad idea.

I’m getting more depressed the longer I think about this. I just cannot believe it... I had low expectations but thought we’d gamble on coach mcgoogle.

Schiano literally has no chance of being successful here. Fans already hate the hire, and he’s inheriting a team that will do well to make a bowl game. He will be on a short string.

If hired, I bet he is fired before the end of year 3. That puts the timeline for our return to relevance at about 6 or 7 more years. I will log off for the last time soon. Just need to mourn this a little longer.

Even if this gets blocked, Currie is still screwed-- everyone knows now what he is all about and what his thinking entails. He is officially a failure.

Schiano will either decide he doesn't need this and back out or he'll follow the Butch Jones Retirement Strategy-- take our money, do whatever he wants, let us fire him in a few years then collect his multimillions and continue to do whatever he wants even richer than before.

I'm not sure a guy could be hired who would have a worse reaction than Schiano. John Currie is an absolute fool if he hires this guy.

No he isn't. Mullen, Smart, Muschamp, Stoops, whoever A&M and Arkansas hire, and Malzahn are all better.
