We give him a bunch of crap, but after the GS debacle Jimmy has been all over it on who we have been interviewing. So I’ll go with him that we did interview Chad Morris

One super entertaining side effect of Bahama John and his mysterious ways is the Cold War developing between Hubbs and Jimmy.

Everything else is pretty terrible.

I'm ready for Chad Morris and a good DC. There's a chance that could be good. Most of the names left don't even have a chance.

I think he’s a better play caller than butch. His offense put up 31 on Clemson this year. I don’t think butch would have scored a point

That’s what worries me. Jimmy has been the only guy getting info this whole time. He’s the definition “old state sports media” and I think that’s significant. It’s status quo. It’s an unchanged approach. It’s a statement that the current process will continue.

Get over our pride. Do we even have any left anymore after the last month? Just hire Kiffin. He would win big here. He left us for his dream job. Sure he could have done it in a better way. But he went for his dream job. And that dream is dead now. So let's bring him back. We need him. And he needs us. What's more important ? Pride or winning ? Winning cures everything. Even burnt mattresses.

I can just see Currie with a list just like from that scene in "We Are Marshall" crossing names off the list and running low on viable options. If Tee wants the job maybe he will contact Currie and sell himself?

I don't know what to think at this point. I don't think several of the names mentioned will take the job for any other reason than after this shatstorm any contract will have to be very lucrative, far more so than their talent and experience deserve. It will not be because they have a passion to bring Tennessee back to relevance. That's my issue with a lot of other names thrown around.

At this point we need someone to recruit, develop players and bring this fan base together. We know what to expect these next few years in wins and losses on the field and most understand in many ways Butch left us in worse shape than Dooley.

All things considered give me Tee. I have 0 faith it will happen but I think it's exactly what this program needs right now. I would NEVER have said that two weeks ago but a LOT has happened in two weeks. The Schiano debacle plus the length the AD let Butch go has this fanbase ready to explode or give up. Tee can change that.
