If our AD is seriously more interested in money than winning, they better go with tee over Steele.

Tee will put butts in the seats. Steele won't. Tee would probably also have the edge on him on the winning thing too for that matter

They won't hire Tee because the fans want it. Haslams have to be the smartest guys in the room, even when their decisions prove over and over that they're the dumbest guys in the room.

Jerry from Bulls Gap would have made better hires than them in 2010, 2012, and 2017.

Listen, I love Taggart. But he never won more than 8 games at WKU. Brohm won 11 twice.

I’ve said it before and will say it again: there is absolutely no reason why we don’t sign up Brohm. He’s a good coach, from the area and coaching at Purdue. What’s more is he’s only had one year of making big bucks at a P5 school. Throw him a $5m signing bonus and offer him $5.5/year. Put the full court press on him. He is not stupid enough to turn that down so he can wait on the Louisville job to open up. He’s just not.

If we hire Steele, I will not renew my season tix.

If you've got a verbal agreement, pay the extra million. If you wait and he changes his mind (or takes a job from someone else), it will end up costing you more.

No school would negotiate that unless they wanted to get rid of them like mcilwain. Purdue does not want to get rid of him they will want the full 4-5.5 buyout. He is not worth that plus bonus plus salary.
