If being a Tennessee fan has taught me nothing else, it's at least taught me two things: 1) things are never so bad that they can't get worse; 2) football is ultimately very unimportant.

I agree with that too, but I assume they know those guys are off the table.

It’s not all about money. You can’t get just anybody by throwing money at them. Brohm is the perfect candidate. From the area. At a job where he can’t win jack. Not already rich.

Agreed. This is the least interested in college football I've been in more than a decade. Part of that is due to the blue bloods making things mostly uninteresting (can't imagine a worse playoff than UGA/Auburn, OSU, Clemson, and Bama/OU).

People on here will treat this the same way they treated Mullen before the fiasco that went down. Plus it’s never going to happen.

I love Taggart so not a shot at him but he never got past 8 wins there. Petrino then came in the year after Taggart and only won 8 games. Jeff Brohm comes in and goes 8-4 first year and then 12-2 and 11-3. Oh, and he beat Taggart in a bowl game in 2015.

It is interesting that most of the first mentioned top targets haven’t said they were interviewed or have declined an offer from UT. Nothing from Peterson, Patterson, Frost, Taggart, or even Gruden for that matter.

He bring so much excitement. Would love this. Pull the trigger. Somebody send Bahama John back to the Bahamas and let Phil close this.

I heard on the radio that coaches were calling Snyder and Martin to ask about Currie and they were being told how awful Currie is. Even before the crap Sunday coaches were afraid to come here because of Bahama John.

Brohm is a good coach. I believe he can win at least 8 or 9 a year on the regular. I actually believe he can win championships here.
