This board is a microcosm of UT. Everybody's spinning in circles, wanting to go in different directions. No consensus, no unity. We've been here before. If UT reacts the same way and hires another Dooley or Butch an a futile attempt to save a recruiting class that's already history, we're going to have the same-- or even more damaging-- result. Feels inevitable.

Hire Leach but try to give Frost 7 million because you have to overpay and yes, offer brohm 7 million too. BUT, QUIETLY.

It wouldn’t be $17. Maxing out the Purdue buyout, it would still only be $15.75m. I’m not sure you’d have to pay Brohm that much to take it, either, but I’d be willing to, for sure. This obviously assumes that we get a hefty buyout if ever left on his own.

You know...maybe a year away from the grind is exactly what Les needed. He's old but could have 5-6 years left in him.

Whether he's a good hire or not at this point, I have no idea, but it's insane to me that he's not even a candidate whatsoever, apparently.

It’s mind blowing. He’s a really good football coach. He’s won a lot of games. He could handle the media. He could recruit. He’s been on this stage before. No buyout. Still getting paid by LSU. HE WANTS THE JOB.

4.5 - 5 mil gets Leach. Bring bring his Dcoord who is a very brightly star and forget about his Texas Tech crap. That gives us our best shot at immediately being good on both side of the ball. Let his assistants do the recruiting. It’s anazing how easy it would be to run this search.
