Haha, you guys are crazy. Dude's having to go through an interview process to be a UT fan.

As far as I'm concerned, if you cheer for Tennessee then you're cool with me. I have a special respect for the people who stuck it out when we were down, but I don't look down on people who didn't. Life's too short to be wasted on judging people for their level of fandom, lol. (Sidenote: if I missed some implied blue font, then I apologize. But I think a couple of the comments were serious, at least in part.)

Of course, if the dude were to flip to somebody else after a rough season, then he'd be dead to me.

This! All of you guys are my sisters and brothers! We stuck through the crap @** years and believed every year that we would be better but fail miserably. The clouds seem to be lifting and our program will be a problem for a lot of teams next season.

BasketVols news....

Barnes was able to land Rob Lanier as his last assistant on the staff. That's big news. Has a rep as a good recruiter.

Bob Mueller said Lanier was coming the day of/day after Barnes' hire.

Things went quiet for a while, then Rucker and Jerry Meyer reported he was staying at Texas with Shaka Smart. Looked like a done deal.

Now, VQ reporting that Lanier is indeed coming to Tennessee.

The legend of Mueller grows.

A recent graph of Bob Muellers "STATS"! :)

I'm very interested to see how the Paulk situation turns out, because Mueller had said he will return and LWS has said he will not.

And any good Republican would funneled the money to the Koch Brothers, big oil companies, war, tax break the rich, etc.....

Anyways Rand and Cruz are not your standard "republicans". I hope people will actually look at what their stances and values and platforms are and not just what party title they have. That's what ignorant voters (on both sides) do. And just perpetuates the problems in America. If something doesn't work, quit voting for the same people/ideology. Time for something new.

This is the second such "newly converted Vol fan here" post I've seen lately. I'd start battening down the hatches for a flood of them after Jones and Barnes get things rolling.

It's the price you pay for greatness, I suppose.

For any potential new fans out there lurking the board right now, I would probably advise not mentioning that specific fact unless you want to have your bona fides questioned. It's been a hard time in Vol country lately, as you probably know, but one good side effect is that all the 'wagoners have been thoroughly weeded out. I doubt folks that have shed blood and tears over the Big Orange these last few years are going to take kindly to those simply jumping on for the ride to the top.

I asked Mueller one day if he was Dave Hart. I didn't go back and look for an answer.

I know the semester isn't over yet, but reports usually start to surface about possible transfer schools for these guys. If this goes another month with no real news, then I would have to think that Paulk is back. He isn't just going to give up on football.

If Paulk is practicing then he is on the team, whether there has been an official announcement or not. The liability of the school in letting a person practice if he is not officially on the team is beyond calculation. No way they would open themselves up to that kind of stuff should he suffer any serious or permanent injury.

I have been VOLS fan since birth plus generations in family before and after me. Still I can't begrudge the band wagon people. You gotta start somewhere. Right now, I'm an Atlanta Hawks bandwagon fan.. (plus any team Manning plays with)

Don't think he is practicing. The picture was investigated and appears to be someone else. It has been reported that he is working out with other members of the team.
