I'm with ya E2096 something is going to change just a matter of when. If I had to chose I would go with 9 conference games and keep the one cross division rival. I would hate not playing Georgia and Florida every year. If we had 3 permanent teams that we played I would want Georgia Florida and Bama.

Yea I wouldn't mind keeping them but it would be tough. Guess you'd get two of UK, Vandy, Ole Miss and Miss st each year in that scenario where in mine you'd get three of those teams each year.

That's it??

@Brent_Hubbs: Tennessee reports a bowl profit of 164k, @John_BriceVQ has details of expenses of the bowl game here: https://t.co/C8eBQ0GdqE

That's actually pretty damned good. Most teams eat the expense of a bowl game and wind up losing money when they go bowling. For a team, that was 6-6 (headed into the bowl) and going up against an opponent that no one was particularly excited about (we were simply excited we were bowling) that's really good. Keep in mind that a lot of teams even lose money going to upper tier bowls and some conferences will help a university eat those expenses so it all levels out to zero or a set amount of loss/cost.

I'm with you. Been a season ticket holder my whole life have a Family member that has a permanent locker in the complex. I can't think of many games or memories better than the games against those teams. Who cares about the others I take WAY more pride in beating those teams. 👍

So Kamara is out with a bruised thigh and twisted ankle. Hope it's nothing that'll linger too long. Kids a bawss

So Wickman and Mueller are saying yes he should be back and LWS is saying he won't. All 3 have good info so this should be interesting to watch.

Mueller and LWS > Wickman

Lol

Just heard he should be back this summer

Hey man, I was just trying to give you a compliment! Lol. Yeah, Mueller and LWS are saying opposite things though so I do wonder where all the info is coming from.

According to Butch, Dobbs had his best practice of the Spring. Kamara wasn't full go today. Out with a thigh bruise and a tender ankle. Could be back by Thursday, but Saturday at the latest.

Butch had big praise for Vickers. Same for Shy Tuttle. Charles Mosley was given kind words, as well. He's around 65-70% healthy.

Couple of Circle of Life Matchups:

Malone beat Griffin
Jumper beat Bryant
Sanders and Mosley tied
Blair beat Lewis
Kendrick edged out Mixon
Evan Berry and Branisel battled

Ray Raulerson and Butcher held out of practice. Both for concussion-like symptoms. Creamer held out as well.

That's what spring is for. Hopefully, when he came out and played with the scout team last week, we all just overreacted a bit. Hopefully.

Info on Gators' practice yesterday. Thought some find this interesting.

Practice Notes, Day 12: Offense ugly in open work

-Grier struggled big time, overthrew/underthrew receivers and was just off overall.

-Their WRs are dropping balls with no defenders on them.

-The secondary absolutely dominated and started taunting Grier. Even a walk-on DL got in the action with a pick.

-OL David Sharpe was "easily" beaten for a TFL.

They sound like they have the worst of our problems from 2013 and 2014. No QB, WRs struggling, and poor OL play. Of course, they will have a stout secondary and likely a good but not great defensive line. It will be very interesting to see what type of offensive gameplan DeBord comes up with for this game.

Put this exact Florida roster in Kentucky jerseys and play the game at Commonwealth and we would win by two touchdowns without it ever being close. The more that comes out about this team, the more and more vulnerable they look, but history indicates all of their weaknesses will disappear for 60 minutes when we meet them on the field.

I agreed w everything till the UK comment. They still have 6 five stars on their roster.

They are WAY more talented, especially on D, than any UK team of my 30 yr lifetime.

I know. I'm just saying that if you wipe away the Florida psychological advantage and transfer it to us, the Vols would win this game fairly easily. The fact that they have Gators on their helmets and the game will be at the Swamp are probably worth 3 TDs against the Vols, IMO.
