9 months ago was the first college football game. There seems to be babies being popped out left and right.

Coincidence? I think not.

No, no surgery yet. They just extubated her last night so her mother and I were able to hold her.

The surgery is scheduled this Thursday. It's open heart and, my fingers tremble just typing this but, they have to stop her heart for an hour while a machine pumps the blood throughout her body for her.

Thursday will be rough but she's a fighter...

Doctors have been successfully doing that stuff for years, and she's in the best of hands at Vanderbilt Children's. I'll being praying for her and your family.

Wow. You are in my thoughts. Vanderbilt is the best for the kiddos. My kid was there for 4 months at 1 year old. He survived a car accident at full speed that killed both of his grandparents. He broke his skull, back, one arm, one leg, and had swelling on his brain on 5 different areas, and was in a coma for over a week. Vanderbilt put him back together, but he shouldn't have survived. 2 years later the kid fell from a 3rd story window and just bounced. Only a scrape on his chest from the window sill on the way out. Tough little sh!t. :hi:

Even with 13 guys out and half the '15 class still to report - the roster is noticeably improved over last year's at this same point. The S&C and extra year in the system are paying dividends to go with the better talent.

I agree with all this but Tuttle was very impressive. In that one drill where he went up against Coleman Thomas, Tuttle absolutely dominated him. That's not a knock on Thomas though, it just shows how dominant Tuttle is gonna be.

Somebody else already mentioned him, but I really like Chance Hall's potential. He's stonewalling people in one on one drills as a true freshman less than a year out from an ACL tear.

I also liked hearing that we're going to be playing as lot more press man this year. If Foreman, Martin, or Moseley can lock down the side opposite Cam, our defense will be straight up nasty with the DL we'll be rolling out.

We get to have a D-line as ridiculously talented as ours and then have an all time great give them pointers???
