Wow. You are in my thoughts. Vanderbilt is the best for the kiddos. My kid was there for 4 months at 1 year old. He survived a car accident at full speed that killed both of his grandparents. He broke his skull, back, one arm, one leg, and had swelling on his brain on 5 different areas, and was in a coma for over a week. Vanderbilt put him back together, but he shouldn't have survived. 2 years later the kid fell from a 3rd story window and just bounced. Only a scrape on his chest from the window sill on the way out. Tough little sh!t. :hi:
Damn! I feel like there is a movie in there somewhere

No, no surgery yet. They just extubated her last night so her mother and I were able to hold her.
The surgery is scheduled this Thursday. It's open heart and, my fingers tremble just typing this but, they have to stop her heart for an hour while a machine pumps the blood throughout her body for her.
Thursday will be rough but she's a fighter...
Walked on that glorious Shields-Watkins playing field. Sat in the checkerboards with my 2 year old son. Pet and took a picture with Smokey. Watched some of the all time great VFLs on the sideline, as they watched the young men who will lead the resurgence to glory. Observed from a few rows up as Phil Fulmer walked onto the field with his family in tow, and it took him about 30 minutes to make it 30 yards on the sidelines because he hugged and told stories with every single one of his old players. Again realized how damn lucky we are to have someone like Butch Jones running this program, who loves his players and respects our university. And not a damn drop of this rain we were warned about.
Ice Cube's day wasn't sh!t compared to mine!
GBMFO.
There would be! Haven't gotten to the happy ending yet lol there's been plenty of drama in our lives due to those events. Even to this day, 7 years since, we are still dealing with the mental and financial ramifications of them. For a long time it's seemed like if we didn't have bad luck, we wouldn't have any luck at all. We're getting there brick by brick. Go Big Orange!
