I don't post often anymore, but I was looking through the photos on my phone in order to clean up some space. I wanted to post this again and say that we have the best fans in the country. Whoever this is, keep doing you. Awesome.

The liberty Bowl guy is the best.

It was Andy Staples with SI. You're memory is fairly good, here's what he said:
If Butch Jones had a more perverse sense of humor, he would have called Jerry Jones (no relation) and asked the Dallas Cowboys’ owner to send his receivers coach to Tennessee’s pro day last week. That way, former Volunteers coach Derek Dooley would have been there to explain the dearth of NFL-level talent coming out of the program this year to his NFL colleagues. After all, the blame for that deficiency falls squarely on Dooley's shoulders. As it was, the staffers charged with cleaning up the mess Dooley made were left to apologize for how little they had to offer.
This was from a March 30th write-up. (sorry Andy)

^^That's the one!

Apparently others aren't letting Dooley off the hook. This was from 2 days ago: Tennessee blanked in NFL Draft for first time since 1964 | CollegeFootballTalk

Today is a great day for our Volnation babies...Sutton gets to finally go home, and Ashlee gets her surgical cure for her heart! Today will be a great day! Keep us updated, OB, when she is finished. God be with all of you. Give Him all the glory!

Top 20 overall SEC draft prospects for 2016

Once again, people's ability to overlook Cam Sutton is absolutely astounding. Not only did he not make the list, he didn't even make the "just missed" list. Unreal.

He isn't being overlooked by the nfl scouts. I saw a mock draft where he was projected first round. Nfl isn't stupid. They know exactly who cam mf Sutton is

Is it thriving in substance or in revenue? Baseball has a higher revenue than football (I think) but could never be considered thriving more than football.

Baseball was considered to be thriving much more for many years in the past but many things have hurt baseball and made football more popular. ( both strikes, the games getting so much longer, The DH in the American league, free agency, PED's - and how Bud handled it ). Of those I think the games getting longer, the strikes, and the PED use have been the biggest factors. After the first strike I took 2 years off and 5 years off after the last one. I use to be able to easily listen to a game in 1 and 1/2 hours to an hour and 50 min. Two hours and 15 min was a very long game. Not so today. Try to find a game that last under an hour and 45 min. The other issues like free agency or the DH may seem normal now and no big deal, but believe me both issues were hotly contested in the past and I know of fans that quit watching at that time.

#Vols WR signee Preston Williams told AJC he leaves Monday to enroll at Tennessee for May classes: Recruiting Rewind: The one and only Preston Williams | College recruiting blog
Which coach maybe wasn’t as nice? “Nick Saban. Me and him don’t relate. We don’t click. We have two different personalities, so I never saw myself playing at Alabama. I’m more of a family-type person. I’m talkative and I laugh. He’s more like sandpaper. He’s a good coach. He’s just traditional and old school. I’m more new school and stylish.”
I'm on pins and needles awaiting the good news later today.

Prayers going nonstop today.

Also love that Preston Williams interview...he has that super confident, brash, elite receiver attitude that fueled some of the greatest. He'll be a headache at times but he will demand the ball and will go up and get it and not be "passive".

I love our WR core but sometimes on the deep ball they can be soft, of course besides Mr. North when healthy.

Do you all think Preston is coming a month earlier than planned now has something to do with Von and the coaches want him up rehabbing in Knox ASAP?

Prayers again for Ashlee!

Preston is ahead of schedule on his rehab so the coaches probably want to get him in the S&C program as soon as possible. It's gonna be good to get him on the field this year.

You think he plays this year?

He seems to think he will. I think the coaches and docs at UT will evaluate him and determine the best for PW's future. I don't think they rush him onto the field if he isn't ready physically/mentally. The last thing you want to do is rush him back and then risk re-injury or damaging his confidence.

@ClowESPN: Peyton Manning told Butch Jones when he was in for the spring game that he was starting to see legit "Sunday bodies" again on Vols' roster.

Missouri has the easiest SEC schedule out of the three big contenders....again.

Combined Schedules (UGA-MIZZ-TN)
1- @Bama - Tennessee
2- @Auburn - UGA
3- Alabama - UGA
4- @UGA - Missouri
5- @Missouri - Tennessee
6- UGA - Tennessee
7- @Tennessee - UGA
8- @Arkansas - Missouri
9- Missouri - UGA
10- Arkansas - Tennessee
11- Miss St - Missouri
12- Tennessee - Missouri
14- @UF - Tennessee
14- UF (JVille)- UGA
15-17- USC - All
18- UF - Missouri
19-24 - Kentucky and Vandy - All

TN and UGA have 4 each in the top 10. Missouri only 2.

In regards to the draft, I feel like the Titans yet again get another A+. I'm really excited about the direction this franchise is heading. The past four drafts have produced absolute studs!! I see a lot of negative remarks regarding this Titans front office and their ability to draft. Any thoughts on why people feel this way? I think they have done better than anyone at drafting, including the Patriots.

Also, do a quick check on UF's Derek Doo...I mean Jim Mac's recruiting at UF and you get this picture.

9 commits

1 - 4*
7 - 3*
1 - 2*

Offer lists that only include teams like FAU and Ga. Southern. I guess they figure if you can't beat them might as well recruit against them? LOL!
