Why do people waste their time posting obvious troll posts on message boards? What do people get out of it? Find something more productive to do with your life. Idle hands are the devil's workshop

Check his previous posts...this is his little schtick and he wants a reaction. Don't respond and don't quote and he'll get tired.

Yeah I've seen some of his posts over the past week or so. It's so obvious and so ridiculous.

I just don't understand A) why people think it's funny for them to do it. And B) why people would spend their time to do it?

Shower etiquette has gotten a little harey since DD left but other than that nobody in their right minds would want him back.... ever.... in any capacity.

@patrickbrownTFP: Vols wind up in another early top 25 for next season. https://t.co/pCCIYV0yKN
@DavidSPaschall: Sporting News preseason poll has 9 from SEC: Aub (3), Ala (5), LSU (14), Ark (15), Miss (16), Ga (18), Tenn (22), Mizzou (23) & MSU (25).

"Sporting News has Tennessee ranked No. 22 in its preseason Top 25. Its rationale follows.

There may not be more hype, more expectation for another team in the SEC. The Vols finished 2014 strong, found a dangerous QB in the final month of the season and roll into this fall with serious momentum.

The trio of QB Josh Dobbs, TB Jalen Hurd and WR Marquez North is as good as any in the country. More impressive (and way undervalued): an argument can easily be made that DE Derek Barnett and CB Cam Sutton are the two best players at their position in the SEC.

Ohio State is No. 1 in the Sporting News Top 25 followed by TCU, Auburn, Oregon and Alabama. Other SEC schools include No. 14 LSU, No. 15 Arkansas, No 16 Ole Miss, No. 18 Georgia, No. 23 Missouri and No. 25 Mississippi State."

If we start the season ranked in the top 25 and beat OU and UF, I don't see us dropping out of the polls in 2015.

If we beat OU and UF then the only teams I see us losing to are possibly 'bama and UGA. Georgia we have here and it will be rocking. 'bama is very unknown right now as they seem to have no set in stone QB.

Arkansas is waaaaaaaaaaay OVERHYPED.

What is different from their finish last year and ours? On top of that, where is the difference in returning players, other than they list a lot more than we did? If they are a preseason top 15 team, then we should be a preseason top 10 team.

They lost a lot on defense. So it depends on what they have replacing those guys. Defense was key for them last year. They should still be challenging because their offense is smash mouth big uglies

Not being an @ss but the difference is they beat more solid teams then we did at the end of the season. They beat LSU ole piss and did it convincingly but I still KNOW we beat them this yr and prove your point that we should be ranked just as high as they are GO VOLS

I think we will be the Mizzou-esque team this year. Our pass rush will win us a few games.

absolutely. i know they have been pretty resilient these last two seasons but this yr they lose both d ends and there doesnt seem to be any ray-golden esque players coming in. Lost a couple quality DTs too. They also lost their entire WR corps. At some point they have to come down a notch and i think it happens this year.

Do we believe Arky's O-line will move our D's front 7 out of the way enough to control the ball and the clock to win the game?

Nah. The Iowa pound the ground game tells us IMO. How did that All American first rounder from Iowa do against true freshman Derek Barnett? We just added two or three more Barnett's in the last recruiting class with K-Mack, Shy and Kyle. Then add in Curt, Danny and the rest. Iowa could not move our D until the second half when the subbing kicked in. That's was without having a real Mike in the game. By the start of the season, Thig will have a real Mike in the game.

Their QB is barely adequate and good for a few picks if they try to air it out against the best secondary in the SEC.

Not happenin'. Vols by 14+.

Yep. They shut out some great teams

This. The hard work with the S&C and focusing on the fundamentals will start paying big dividends this season.

The O-line will be considered a strength by mid season IMO. It takes time and guys playing together as a unit before O-lines become solid. This group, including the first subs in the game, have now played together for enough games to know what each other is doing.

Agreed. They just don't have enough talent to keep reloading that Dline every year. Teams with average to bad recruiting in the SEC always fall back down to earth for a few years at a time, even if they do have great coaches.

If your going to compare army to some other team don't make it Iowa.

Alabama would of been a better comparison.
