You see it your way; I see it mine. I missed some of the first half, but the second half was atrocious. Even with my team winning, I know how the NBA works. It's about dollars, and it's been going on for years. In the grand scheme of things, the small market teams without a superstar will not benefit.

Would Matt Simms have been a serviceable QB at UT with the 2012/2013 OL?

I just watched some old highlights of him and his arm was pretty decent. I remember him being Peterman esque but he was actually kinda good at times, but the OL got him murdered in 2010 and into 2011.

He was tough as nails. You're right about his arm talent and the 2-4 bonehead plays a game.

I believe the average VN guy could've looked good behind that O-line. Bray was a very good QB and that O-line made him otherwordly.

If we had a defense he gets drafted based on that O-line, and we remember that team as one of the better ones in a long time. Unfortunately, that also means we probably just now fire Dooley, or do so last year, assuming he doesn't somehow sneak into the east one of the past few crappy seasons in the division.

True. I think the OL gave up about 15 combined sacks in 2012 and 2013.

An OL that good in 2015 would make us instant SEC Championship contenders.

Also, you're right on Dooley. One more win would have kept his job. I remember reading that Hart was going to retain him with a 6-6 season.

Goodness. That would have set us back 10 years. We'd be begging Justin Fuente to coach here and probably getting turned down.

Lady Vols softball got the 8th national seed in the NCAA tournament. So they get to host the regional and then the super regional if they advance.
