Shared this in Osborne thread, but thought I'd share here too. Laughing so hard...

This is hilarious, except to the cat I will bet. The cat looks kind of scrawny and maybe down a life or two to begin with. But between the pitchfork and the snake I am guessing he lost another 3 or 4 lives in the deal.

The human with the pitchfork definitely owes that cat some treats, nip, wet food, new toys -- hell one of those really big kitty condos with the works (you know the ones that are more like castles and take up half the room). Cat was trying to be all deliberate and check out this snake, maybe even save the lives of the humans around him, and how does the human repay him? Shameful human.

That's a rake, not a pitchfork

Surprised that snake didn't blow up striking out at something.

And of course, you saw how much damage "Spurry" the South Carolina game-cock dealt out.

Yeah, I'm torn on what to do myself. Streaming ESPN seems like the perfect solution, but it won't be worth the savings if the stream drops/buffers and I miss plays during games (especially UT games).

I might just keep cable through bowl season and then cut the cord. I think by fall 2016, the options will be better for cord cutting.

Experiment with a few different things before you cut the cord. I use Chromecast with a few apps I have on my phone. HD cinema is one. Tons of shows and movies that will work with Chromecast. I've got several friends that use xbmc or kodi with an android TV box that they swear by. Also and app called mobdro that streams well enough. But, you will need a good internet connection for any of these to work.

Research before you do anything.

Yeah make sure your Internet is fast. A friend got it with slow Internet and he is going to have to upgrade that.

I've streamed every UT game since 2010 when I cut my cable. Up until last year via Watchespn from a netbook attached to my HDTV and it's been really good. At times the video quality would degrade but it was very watchable. Last year on the SEC networks via the same computer it was much worse and it would stall and get very choppy. I have 35+Mbps cable internet and usually it's very fast and video streaming works great. However, the Watchespn app on my android table worked great with no issues. I'm thinking it's a browser issue but tried all the latest versions if Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera or it could be the netbook.

I am not a tech guy, but don't you have to have a service provider to use WatchESPN? I know some people use a family or friend's password, but the point is that someone has to have cable or satellite to stream WatchESPN.

Yes. Only certain providers allows it. Most seem to though

This Memphis game is all but over and the Forum is clearing out in a hurry but there's three people that are sitting courtside that have yet to move: Butch Jones, Butch's son, and Rick Barnes.

Correct. If ESPN offered a Watchespn only subscription I would buy it just for college football.

Rob Cassidy of Rivals & Paul Fortenberry of VolQuest have reported that UT currently leads in the recruitment of several high-profile Florida WR prospects. 4* Freddie Pinder, 4* Kemore Gamble, & 3* Johhny Huntley all have recently named the Vols their current leader. Cassidy & Fortenberry stated that there is more positive chatter about UT football amongst Florida recruits than there has been in a long time. Fortenberry also points out the truly remarkable recruiting job by Coach Jones and staff & references the fact that these Florida prospects are naming the Vols their leader before ever even visiting UT's campus.
