OB79-My family has had the Vandy hospital experience. It is at best, controlled chaos at times. Without recounting our experience in detail, we were fortunate to get our daughter even admitted as her life was in extreme jeopardy. Admittance, in itself, was no easy task. However, our family will always be grateful for the brilliant and dedicated physicians at Vandy. :hi:

Sounds like we had somewhat similar experiences. However, we arrived by ambulance with all of Ashlee's major organs shutting down...admittance wasn't an issue.

And, our experience has been 99% wonderful. We owe her life to the physicians in the PCICU, PCCU, and ER, and I made sure to write that letter, commending and thanking them for it, first.

It takes a lot for me to take the time out and write a letter of complaint, in fact this might actually be a first for me. However, when my children's well being are in the hands of someone who I feel is more concerned about their title, ego, reputation, or whatever, it does not take long for me to go thermonuclear on your rear end, which I did...and I sincerely hope that the powers that be take it seriously because she doesn't even come close to the rest of her peers, at least from our rather lengthy experience. I made sure to mention that part and thanked them for such wonderful service from all but one staff member.

This sucks. He needs to have some exact drills the coaches want him doing every day and needs to be working like he's already here. We need him to be ready.

The good news is we can blowout some of the earlier teams we face (BGSU/Western Carolina) and get him some quality reps early on.

I've thought the same thing. Pretty much seems the 4-star rating from most services was inaccurate.

pretty much. I know Martinez wasnt liking what he was seeing. Seems like i remember hearing something about how he just wasnt very good and would never play.

Follow up visits to the cardiologist and hematologist have gone well. Biggest issue now is getting her feeding tube out and getting her off her pain meds, which has proven to be challenging.

All in all, she's doing really well. Thanks for asking, OV!

Dave and Busters was founded in Dallas. The only reason I am really familiar with them is because of my family being from the area. I am guessing I went to one of the first ones back when I was growing up.
