Whoever is doing their outsourcing work now is doing shoddy work. I don't know if it's in the manufacturing process or in the materials but that's happened to a lot of people. There have even been a few games where players had brand new ones fall apart on live tv.

I just hope they fix the issue. When you pay that much you shouldn't have to worry about that.

To sound old for a minute... I remember when you could wear the same pair of shoes for years, treat them like hell, and as ratty as they'd get, even ones with holes in the soles wouldn't blow out.

How about getting hand-me-downs from three older brothers? We had our own "Goodwill" store when I was growing up. I finally lucked out when they figured out my feet were much wider than my brothers (4-E, 6-E if I can find them).
My wife jokes that I have feet like Alley Oop (the cartoon character).

Don't the QBs/WRs do some pretty heavy drill work in the passing game in July?

Seems like I remember there being at least some semblance of interesting practice news that starts coming out around that time.

But I agree that July is excruciating. So damn close and yet so far away. Hopefully we'll get a few commitments to keep it interesting.
