Arky will be a lesser version of what UGA was last year. Great running game and mediocre defense.

They are going nowhere in the West though. They better hope one of Collins/Williams doesn't get hurt. Allen is garbage at QB. Hunter Henry is solid at TE though.

I agree on that. I think UGA will be a lesser version of UGA last year too. Worse at QB and WR and about the same at RB and OL. They lost a really great center.

Defense maybe about the same for UGA. Down slightly on DL and LB and about the same ar DB.

The Arkansas game might be my favorite to watch all year. I think that our defense will embrace the physicality and CBJ will be questioning their manhood all week leading up to the game. There will definitely be a lot of snot flying around on the field that day.

I'll leave this dog turd right here:

Malzahn of Auburn, not Saban, is SEC most desirable coach; Gators McElwain is 12th - Orlando Sentinel

(Bulletin Board material, your welcome VN!)

I agree with him.

I'd take Malzahn first and he is not far off for Butch. He has yet to prove anything on the field. He also credits Butch's recruiting skills. Aside from a desperation comeback against a mediocre USC team, he hasn't won anything at UT... YET. He would be about 7-8 on my list.

7-8 is reasonable, 11 nah.

Who you take 1st?

I agree with Malzahn, dude's electric.

But I'd also ask, would you put Spurrier above Butch? Spurrier obviously has better body of work, but if you're picking a coach now going forward, would Spurrier be ahead of Butch IN THIS POINT OF HIS CAREER?

On field I get, but the reason Butch is starting to get the National love he is, is because folks have taken note of what he has done with this roster in a very short amount of time.

Malzahn has lost his last 4 games against FBS opponents. Saban hasn't lost 4 games in a season since 2007. No one should be taking Malzahn over Saban.

27-16 And the Vols move to 5-0 on the season with no opponent getting closer than 10 points from us.

RB is significantly worse than last year. Losing Gurley off of that depth chart is bigger than people are giving it credit for.

I think Malzahn is the superior X's and O's coach but Saban is the better recruiter. It seems like Gus's offenses always give Alabama's defense fits. In the past 2 Iron Bowls, Auburn has gained over 1,000 combined total yards of offense.

Malzhan is also not as much of a jackass. I'd go Gus over Saban myself. Malzhan has only been a HC for 3 years. Saban has decade of experience as a HC over him and still has a really hard time figuring out how to beat him

Neither has Gus had the luxury of years of #1 classes. Saban is a great recruiter, but I'm not convinced he is a great coach. Give Gus Saban's talent pool, and he wins 3 of 4 against Bama.

Agree I think Gus is the best game day play caller in all CFB.

I see no innovation on either side of the ball for Bama for the last several years. I believe we are in an era that requires it. Saban has counted on recruiting better than everybody else to sustain. That's a long, slow ride downhill as Phil Fulmer knows all too well.

Soon.

You need a Muschamp history lesson?

No one knows what he'll do at UF. Could be Zook or Meyer. Those in coaching and media believe he's one of the better X and O guys

Calm your tits HG. All I am saying is that the last two hires were meh at best. He may be great and strategy, but he is not impressive as a recruiter thus far
