They were the last big school that didn't belong to them and Michigan knew it. Getting Michigan after Tennessee switched, pretty much shuts out Adidas from the big traditional programs.

Good point. Who do they still have? I think Texas A&M, Mississippi St, Wisconsin, Miami, Nebraska, Arizona State, and UCLA are pretty much it.

His offenses have been some of the best in the SEC. Chavis had no offense at LSU.

Good offense + good defense = good team. Sumlin is one of the best in the conference.

Agree that's why Texas A&M is my WAY to early pick to win the SEC west next yr. Other than Auburn there will not be a better offense in the west. I prefer A&M over Auburn bc of there player makers on the outside. I think Noil is the best player with the ball in his hands in the SEC.

Like it or not, the Michigan Basketball brand is probably worth more to Nike than our bball brand.

Also, they have an entire merchandise revenue stream that we don't possess.
Michigan Wolverines Ice Hockey is a big damn deal up there.

When you look up the word "class" in the dictionary, there has to be a picture of Peyton Manning.

His acceptance speech in the ESPYS was very humble and sincere.

I agree. We tend to keep the orange colored shades on all of the time and not see the real world. Realistically Michigan has more revenue and revenue sports than UT does along with an equally rabid fan base located in a densely populated area of the country. Don't have to like them, but sure am not going to claim UT means more to Nike than them.
