They wired my mouth shut real tight. I was on a liquid diet for 8 or 9 weeks. Lost 35 pounds....all muscle weight. I've never been overweight, always in shape, so all I had on me to lose was muscle weight.

They told me I would be out of work a minimum of 8 weeks. I went back for a check up after weeks and to get my pain meds prescription refilled. I asked the doctor again, when I would be able to go back to work and he said about 6 or 7 weeks.....when you get off the pain meds. I threw the new prescription he had written at him and started walking out the door. He asked me what I was doing. I said, going to work, you can keep the prescription. I went back, mouth wired shut and all.

Should have been out over 2 months. Was back in 2 1/2 - 3 weeks.

Tomahawk field was the most intimidating place to play, and I've played at Oakland, The Pit at Lincoln County and others.

I hope Coach A recovers and returns the program at Riverdale to where it's known to be.

This last page or two has covered a lot of emotions. I've been pissed off, concerned, amazed, in awe, and laughed my ass off. You guys and gals are fantastic. Well most of you. Except BaldBiker. Not only does he take credit for EVERYTHING, but he has bigger genitalia than EVERYONE else too. You're an awful jack...badass. :hi: :eek:lol:

Back in the day... Gallatin was a rough place to play. Fans lined up on each side of the road to hit the bus as we rolled in.

The Pit was rough too

Interesting how the times of changed. Baylor Bears, Texas Longhorns show how much has changed in Lone State State over 10 years

In the same spirit, I hope 5 years from now, they will be saying,

"Who would have thought, with Alabama ruling the roost for a decade and with Georgia and Florida being perennial powerhouses, that Tennessee would Rise to the Top of the pack and begin their era of dominance. After what Kiffin and Dooley had let the program get into, you would have never thought they would rise from the ashes, but against the odds, they are back on top of the football world, and those other teams have struggled."

Amen... and amen.

It's called Art Briles. Briles is TX royalty. He is the reason for the shift. TX missed the boat by not hiring him.

Na, I'm just a ridiculous person that is nearly impossible to make feel awkward. Those comments were of course tongue in cheek, but the respect was genuine.

In other news BaldBiker has enough titanium in his head to qualify as the illegitimate son of Dr. Doom.

it would help if they would quit running that play with the tight end running in the flat getting blindsided as soon as he catches the ball. I don't think we've ever gained more than 2 or 3 yards on that play and the poor tight end get his knees taken out every time.
