I seriously doubt that, if you have watched Duke under Cut, they are a spread team that runs the read option. Dobbs would fit his offenses perfectly at Duke.

I think Ziti is saying with the way Dobbs is inconsistent Cut would have benched him during the SC game. If only to get his attention for a couple of series.

Are you talking about Memphis? That was a horrendous loss, yes, but this one was worse because of what was at stake. That game did not affect our chances to win the SEC and this one all but decimated it.

If I remember correctly (and it took 10 years of therapy to deal with it) That game kept Tennessee from a chance to play in the NC game...

Being from Memphis, that is absolutely and without a doubt the worst loss in all of Tennessee football history.

if butch hadnt seen dobbs pull so many miracles out of his arse he may have benched him. i will admit as horrible as i thought he was playing, i held out hope late that he might just do it again.

Completely agree. Lucky for them they only have 1 or 2 real games a year.

Edit Wisconsin is solid though, that's not a cupcake win.

Unimpressed by them so far. I like the defense though. And they are coached well. I'd take Washington in a neutral site game versus them.

I'll agree on Wisconsin, Penn State is decent, Colorado I'm not buying.

Wisconsin isn't FLAT OUT good. That offense is pedestrian.... the defense is good but that offense is nothing special. Alabama as much as I hate to say it would maul both Michigan and Wisconsin. And it would be easy too. Neither has another level they can take it to.

Come on man there is no way you actually think he coaches QB's. Title is all he has. He is literally an O-line/TE's coach his entire career. You keep on derailing this topic tho..

From the beginning I thought it was weird that Shoop didn't bring anyone with him. Usually a DC brings some of his assistants.

Don't know if this says more about Butchs plan or Shoops plan. I'm sure if Shoop stays he will bring his ppl in on the defensive side of the ball next yr.

Canada- should have been hired 2 years ago. Also listed as QB coach.

Tony Franklin- think he could do a great job. Not sure about the QB development though.

Tedford- I think this would be a Grand Slam hire.
