LOL what?!?!? Dobbs won't be playing
If we have enough health at receiver, I'd be all for giving JJ a shot at safety cause he's a dog. But are we sure he'd be that good in coverage? Has he ever played safety? I'm almost certain they'll move Byrd to corner next year. I think with us still having Malone next year plus the additions of Callaway, Williams, Perry being back and others that the need at corner will be bigger than the need at receiver
lol. Atlanta or no Atlanta, Jones is getting an extension.
I would think it would go back to the the 5 year buyout terms and yes, I think he will get a bump in pay.
Dobbs will be a mix of Russell Wilson and Randall Cunningham in the NFL. Wilson's cool and calm with Cunningham's dynamic playmaking ability.
Dobbs has been held back by the surrounding pieces and coaching at UT. He'll be much better in the pros. Once he gets a decent offensive line and some good receivers he'll be a star.
Jauan was the best Safety in the state his Junior year. He played against Gaulden and Vic that year and lit them up
He didn't play Safety his Senior year until Blackman was down 42-14 at Independence in the 4th quarter. He demanded to go in because they couldn't stop the slant. First play JJ blasted the WR who had over 300 yards receiving so hard. Kid didn't even try to catch anything the rest of the game. JJ went on to have at least one INT and lead Blackman to the win on the last play 43-42.

That's some folk hero stuff right there

No chance
We'll see. I'm confident Dobbs will be a STAR at the next level.
Butch Jones stupid coaching and subpar talent on the offensive line and wide receiver has held him back.
His true potential is much higher than what we've seen so far. It's what we've only seen in flashes (2nd half vs Florida this year, 2nd half vs Georgia last year, Kentucky this past Saturday, etc.).
At the next level, once he's surrounded by top tier talent and competent coaching, he'll reach his full potential.
