We fired the last one because of all the injuries that happened during the Summer camp and season, if I am remembering right. (strength & conditioning coach).

In order to compete with bama you have to recruit at a very high level consistently. You have to consistently bring in top 5 classes at a minimum. There's only one coach that is recruiting at this level imo and that CUM. While Butch has been recruiting pretty good it isn't even close to being on the level of Saban or Meyer.

I'm totally fine if we win every other game but Bama. Saban is on another level. We could get ourselves in deep trouble again if we have beating Saban consistently as the bar we set.

It should also be noted that we were very competitive with Bama last year in T-Town. If Martin would have got his head around on that last drive, we walk away with a win.

I'll be pretty damn shocked if we drop a game down the stretch. We are playing a bunch of 4-8 SEC East teams. A loss to any of these teams would be the worst loss of Butch's career. In fact, I doubt he's ever lost a team where he was more than a TD favorite, and I really think we'll be around -8 or -9 at the minimum against the rest of these teams.

Chris Peterson would give them absolute hell at a larger program with more recruiting appeal.

I think if he can consistently recruit top 5-10 classes with some more modifications to his coaches (WR coach, possibly a new OC) than yes, I think we will get to the point where we can compete year in year out. But it won't be as quick as some people might want, CBJ started with his hands and feet tied behind his back because of institutional decisions and Dooley. 10-2 with a good showing in the SECCG game will go a long way to help sell recruits.

It's just about the actual medical certificate. Got my first class medical today & they printed it out on card stock. It's not a big deal but I was wondering if that was normal.

My last medical was on regular paper to easily fold up & put in my wallet.

Dad says his is on normal paper. Mine was on normal paper as well when I went last month.

Yeah that's what I figured. Definitely strange but maybe not a big deal. I've been browsing jetcareers & airline pilot central forums trying to see if anybody else had theirs on card stock but no luck yet.

Starting a 100 day course with ATP at MQY Monday to finish out my instrument, commercial, multi & CFI. I'm sure you'll be bossing me around over the radios when they hand me off to Memphis center :)
