The top to bottom quality of the 2015 class is incredible at this point. Just about everyone has already panned out or will pan out either this season or next.

It's silly to think about the potential the defense is gonna have this season. They are going to absolutely dominate a lot of teams on the schedule this year.

Playmakers at every. Single. Level.

Secondary will dominate teams this year. Shoop said Foreman was the most consistent DB this Spring in an interview. Martin is getting all the praise but the best CB in the SEC is on the other side of him. Not another secondary more athletic top to bottom.

Hearing positive stuff about PW and JJ is great, but we are slightly thin at WR.

Got 4 guys who should be very solid/very good this year in PW, JJ, Malone, and Smith.

Then there's Perry, who should be good as a redshirt freshman. Then George, who obviously needs to bulk up a lot and is a pretty big question mark at this point. Not much behind them, at least among guys on campus right now.

Hopefully some of the freshmen will be able to step up and provide some quality depth. Also think that Wolf and Croom will be utilized a lot at TE.

Last two WR pickups should contribute this year. Callaway in particular should make an impact.

At Cincy, Butch ran some 4 receiver formations with two TE's split into the slot on each side. A sample play: the WR on one side would run an out, the slot TE on the other side would run a seam, the WR on that side would run a go, and the remaining slot TE would go in motion right before the snap and run a wheel route to the opposite side. The QB would play action and the RB would pick up anybody coming inside and if free drift under the LB's for a safety valve. There was so much going on the D would be totally lost. The QB would then hit a wide open Kelce on the wheel route nearly every time.

Evan Berry has to come back and he's the most athletic safety we've got.

Abernathy is going to play somewhere. So idk but I'm glad we've got a lot of GOOD options. Our backups would've started pre Butch. And would've been the best players on defense during that era.

With Barnett, Vereen, Smith, Taylor, Kirkland, McKenzie, and Tuttle bearing down on them. I almost kinda feel sorry for them.

I mean, technically Barker isn't new...he's just not good lol.
