I'm not going to believe in CBJ's killer instinct until I see him march across the field between plays, rip out the opposing coach's goozle, take a bite out of it, and then chuck the remainder of the bloody mass into the crowd... AT AN AWAY GAME.

Anybody could do that s%#& at Neyland...

Now we know what to look for at the AtM game. That is the first real opportunity to do it and have it mean anything. I mean he ripped Mark Richt's manhood out of him last year in Knoxville, deballing Kirby Smart in his first year as Head Coach won't hold the same appeal IMO.

I actually thought he made a great correction against UF. He was very aggressive on offense and especially situationally. The QB pass, the jump pass on 4th down, the late TD in the 4th. I had no problem with the offensive aggressiveness in the UF game.

He seemed hit and miss in the UF game to me. That is why I decided to say "not enough." He made some very gutsy calls on offense, but there were some times I was like he was going frm one extreme to the next. The D is where I mostly get irritated about with that game. But I do agree that he made some pretty gutsy calls on O.

I'm feeling better about our chances of having one or more players drafted now. Unless he somehow gets injured, North seems like an almost for sure later round guy. O. Williams and B. Randolph also might get a look.

The NFL draft is so hard to predict though, especially for these bubble guys. Every year I think we'll have more drafted than we do...

@wesrucker247: Former #Vols WR Pig Howard measured in at 5-foot-7.1 and unofficially ran 4.55 and 4.51 in 40 and had a 32.5 vertical at today’s Pro Day.

@wesrucker247: Couple of scouts had former #Vols TE Alex Ellis in the 4.5/4.6 range on 40s and a 34.5 vert today. Former walk-on had a really good day IMO.

Impressive. Taller, bigger, higher jumping, and only slightly slower 40 than Pig!

You just pissed off D4H.

Unlike you guys, I'm happy when our guys do well even if I wouldn't draft.

Great job Randolph. Make your money bro.

I still wouldn't draft him cause I don't think he's as good a football player as he is workout warrior but I've never been mad to see a black man make money.

Yikes. That's another guy I thought would be a 4.6-ish time.

Somewhat related comment though: this dude was legitimately our best WR for most of last season. He led our team in receiving yards and tied with Kamara for most receiving TDs.

Maybe this gives us some insight into our struggles throwing the ball. Our best athletes at WR were some combination of the terms 'freshman' and 'injured'. The best of the rest just ran a 4.8 40. No wonder we couldn't get any separation from good DBs.

Malone is clearly the question with no answer here. Don't know what is/was wrong with him. But we need more from him than 3-5 good plays a game, and athletically he has the ability to give it to us.

I kept telling y'all last year. Dobbs wasn't problem. It was the receivers.

Hopefully with Preston's emergence and guys like Vincent Perry and Marquez Callaway breaking out, we can get some better play from our receiving corp.

That's really bad for him. I thought he was more athletic. I expects high 4.3 low 4.4 from him in the 40.

Plus a 32" vertical at his height is terrible.

Ok... Yes, the receivers didn't always help him, but Dobbs was VERY inconsistent with throws over 5 yards.
