How do you think there's any proof of what was said? Do you think they grabbed the recorder really quick? They are just trying to add more stuff to the story to force Tennessee to settle. They might as well shut up, because this will be fought all the way to the courts. How you can reach back 20 years to grab a story about Peyton Manning and say there is a hostile sexual environment on campus is hilarious. It just shows how far they are reaching with this lawsuit.
I've never been mad at a Lahu tribesman, for making that money
Only thing I worry about is what butch said to the dad. If there was a discussion about a lockerroom incident that could spell trouble
The dad being in law enforcement makes him very credible IMO so what he has to say was said could be bad if it doesn't match what cbj says
It's a non story, but it's an excuse to get the story back in the headlines and get more clicks.
I remember a few weeks ago people saying watch for more to come out after all the national media were crawling all over Knoxville. And then I waited as nothing new came out.
Is this the worst of what they found?

conrad graham was a pretty good number 37. DB in early 70s.
I haven't either
The call to the dad is what worries me. That's the only part of these phone records that could mean anything of significance IMO
I would think that is standard procedure. It's logical to call a parent when something like this might occur. As others have said previously, without more, that article is a non-story because those calls make sense.
On a side note, I would not like being a public employee with media access to phone and email records. I have nothing to hide, but you literally have to think about how you write every email and make every call. Scrutiny is just amazing these days.
If you're looking for an issue, sure, you'll see one, but thinking that a coach calling a player-- especially during an event like that-- is a "sheesh" moment is absurd.
Complete. And. Total. Non-story.
Calling the dad could be very innocent and neccessary I agree
That's what I am hoping the dad says was the context of the call.
I posted that my biggest worry for butch here from the start of this is he is somehow he is "guilty" of not doing enough to protect the safely of a student athlete(Bowles). That's the biggest thing that could cost him dearly IMO and the call to the dad hopefully matches stories with all involved
