I kept telling y'all last year. Dobbs wasn't problem. It was the receivers.

Hopefully with Preston's emergence and guys like Vincent Perry and Marquez Callaway breaking out, we can get some better play from our receiving corp.

Dobbs inaccuracies were part of the problem. Often throws high, receivers did bail him out from time to time. Georgia game in particular.

Malone and PW (even Josh Smith at 6'1) should be able to bring down more balls than they did last year. It could even work to our advantage, having tall receivers go up for high balls.

Brian Randolph was a great Vol man. Super pumped that he showed out today. I hope he gets a shot.

That guy is as VFL as it gets.

He was a much better player here than some want to admit for whatever reason.

2nd best #37 in Vols history I can think of behind The Peerless One.

NCAA violation for a friend who's dad is a huge UT fan and happens to be on vacation solve your transportation issues?

I get what you guys are saying, but things are not lining up. Maybe it just seems worse to me because i've got the flu.

If you're looking for an issue, sure, you'll see one, but thinking that a coach calling a player-- especially during an event like that-- is a "sheesh" moment is absurd.

Complete. And. Total. Non-story.

Yeah, I just don't see how this amounts to anything. Why WOULDN'T Jones talk to all the relevant parties?

The only thing to worry about in that article is what the dad says was said during the phone call to him

That could be bad news

Nice...

After the Cotton Bowl game in which he was named offensive MVP, Webb was the interview everyone wanted. Except that he vanished. Vintage Webb, we thought.

"The truth is,'' he explained, "I had a flight to make and I left in my sweaty jersey.

"Whoever the lady sitting next to me was, she smelled Cotton Bowl all the way back to Toledo.''

How do you think there's any proof of what was said? Do you think they grabbed the recorder really quick? They are just trying to add more stuff to the story to force Tennessee to settle. They might as well shut up, because this will be fought all the way to the courts. How you can reach back 20 years to grab a story about Peyton Manning and say there is a hostile sexual environment on campus is hilarious. It just shows how far they are reaching with this lawsuit.
